A) the democracy stuff means nothing to most Americans. Same with the fascism stuff, majority of Americans just tune out with they hear that.

B) It’s all more about vibes/feelings, and judging by the economy currently, without any nuance how they got here or whatever anyone will do about it.

Indeed, its something I was thinking about today. The US Dems the last however many years generally seem, I dont know, a bit... milquetoast? Kinda a bit by the numbers and nothing special. Then you get a loud assertive, confident sounding person like Trump and some people, rightly or wrongly, start taking notice of him.

Feels like the Dems need to get some special talent in, someone who doesn't just tow the party line or say the right things, but genuinely has ideas and a strong will to go with the charisma. That said I'm not across everyone from either side when it comes to US politics but its my impression.
