Most Left podcasts were so adamant that this would be a sweep for Harris, based on women voting in record numbers. That appears to have been completely fabricated spin in the last 4 or 5 days. It is nowhere to be seen in the numbers. Nor is the phantom "Silent Kamala" voters

Furthermore, those "doctored Republican polls" that were being labelled as herders etc. look to actually have underestimated Trump's vote.

What a seismic shift in the US' political landscape. The Democrat establishment ignored it in 2016, got lucky in 2020, and didn't change. I don't see them changing any time soon.

Biden was lucky enough that Trump scored a heap of own goals leading up to 2020. Biden was also a long time politician who had built up enough support.

This time around they spent far too long pretending Biden was capable of going around again before replacing him with someone I don’t think particularly stood out much at all.
