I think we've picked the wrong side to play Freo. The Dockers are tough over the ball and, with Conca out, "resting" Tuck seems a mistake.

Anyone else think White could have been selected to do a 'run with' job on Hill?

He's had defensive jobs before (and done them fairly well), and he's got the speed to go with Hill.

One of three possible reasons he was picked IMO.

Can also break the lines when there is plenty of space (he's done so before at Subi).

And lastly, might have big value as a sub as 'push up' suggested.

Given Tigga has been selected, I'm tending toward the sub theory (since Tigga seems the type you let off the leash early, but expect to tire given his lack of top level experience).

I think White will prove a good value selection.

Not that im into it, but was surprised to see Maric 3rd for us in SC and 4th in DT. Not the be all and end all, but stats wise he is right up in our best.
Griffin had the better in the first game last year, but that was a 10 minute late change and caught us out, he is also playing well, but at least Ivan will be prepared this time round.

Will be a great contest between the two.
