Good to see the OM's win at a ground they have had zero success kicking against the breeze in the last with Thomas injured. Were the hot tip for relegation early in the year.

Bedes and Beauy were the shortest relegation tips in the history of both Maplebet and the VAFA relagation system.

Heard that SKOBs won without a bench for a quarter and a half?

I was at Toorak Park, Xavs just found a way... again. Beauy, SMBT & Blacks all in deep trouble.

Big week next week for Trinity.
Play at home vs the in form DLS.
Lose this one and they will be 3-5.
I think its all over for them if this is the case. Should be a great game.

Blues vs Collegians will also be a ripper. Blues last two weeks very impressive. Toss of the coin for me.

Think Beauy can get their first win at home against STMB.

Xavs and SKOB both at home against Blacks and OM's should prevail.

Rooster's mob have our number year after year. Its uncanny. They ran us off our feet today. We looked really slow. Complete contrast to last week.

Congrats to De La. I half predicted it in the previews. Dairy Bell is Colls "Bermuda Triangle". 3 wins out of the last 14 visits down there.
Something about that ground that does us in. In saying that, it wouldnt be giving De La the full credit they deserve..Great for the competition...

De La always have seemed to be a team that can get on a run in matches.

OX still looking pretty unconvincing. 5-2 and 102% tells a story of just getting over the line. They will need to do better up against Colls in Rd 9.

The Bellers play the Dairy Bell really well. There's a fat and thin side to that ground and they attack via wider more spacious grandstand side and defend via the narrower more confined Waverley Road side.

As good as the Bellers were Maxwell's team of the decade:) were equally as disappointing on Saturday. Only one game though and Wesley have shown when they're on they're a terrific outfit.

Where is the great man? Briza, I heard skob lost another four on Saturday to injury to bring the total to 19 first choice players? Is this true?

You might need all those 10 teams the CEO objected to a while back!

Early favourites for the Woodrow?

Can only comment with any real authority on my club. Despite not placing in his clubs B&F Jake Williams comfortably won the Woody last year so clearly the umpires love him. He is a star. Skilful and brave who to this point is having a better 2017 than 2016. Jason Tutt has been outstanding this year but went off early in the Rd 6 game with a hammy that kept him out last week and probably for a few more. Missing games obviously hurts your chances. If umpires recognised defenders than Tom Humphrey would be right up there but we all know it is exclusively a midfielder’s award.

From other clubs – Dowd, Ferguson, Michie, Iezzi, Young, Paule & the Johnson from OX who won their B&F last year. I am sure there are plenty of other contenders who I have missed.

in the local derby, mentone over the sharks.

trinitonians to bounce back and do the bellers.

scholarly blues to inflict more pain on the wesleyans.

st kevins/afl2s and red hot flag favourites in a cake walk over the grammar.

the best run club to smash the scholarly blacks.

De La flag favourites judging by last weekends results and certain posters justification of the current status of teams? Will they be the first team to win the flag from fifth? Maybe.

Blacks in serious, serious strife, last weekend was embarrassing against a SKOB reserves team ;)
Beauy or St Bede's are safe as houses, just waiting for the winner of this weekends derby to know who.

This boards been a little slow of late, it needs more Jascave.

So based on that logic St Bedes are flag favourites as they rolled DLS the week before. In fact Uni Blacks are flag favourites as they rolled St Bedes the week before that. So that must mean that SKOBs are red hot favourites as they flogged Blacks on the weekend.

Dear Canada,

Can I please have the proceeds of the $100 I placed at Maplebet on the BS 'Melba' lasting less than a posting week. The odds admittedly were short but none-the-less juicy.

Regards,

AM:)

Will do. Briza has a long history of leaving and being back 5 seconds later. But at least he's consistent.
We know what's going to happen and I'm sure deep down so does he.
I can see SKOBAFL and Xavs flexing a little muscle this weekend.
The other three games are pearlers. Real toss of the coin jobs. We will all learn a lot this weekend.
What a season!!
For the Love of the Game....

What is a " posting week"?

I thought he was absent for more than 7 days.
