On Friday I went to the petrol station.

This range rover guys flys into the place while talking on is phone.
I looked up jeez that's abit too quick and yeah one hand on the phone.

Round a bouts are in intersections yeah .

But different rules than normal intersections .

What not use the same rules as intersections .

There seem to be drivers who have got some sort of fear of passing another vehicle, especially big ones like trucks.
So you end up with 3 lane roads with empty acres in front of three abreast driving at 60 in the 80 zone, and a heap of congested traffic behind them.

Works incredibly badly when the traffic lights are synchronised for 80km/h.

Well I have had the luxury of driving down the famous Van Wyck in NYC to JFK. I highly recommend the experience. That is if you crave blaring horns as a constant, speeding drivers, being abused, people swerving and cutting you off and iff you are lucky, a complete traffic jam complete with being serenaded by the obsessent blaring of car horns.

In Portugal where I live, its 120km speed limit on the highways. Traffic has two speeds. Either 20km below the speed limit or 20 km over the speed limit. Inbetween is not an option. Also the friendly tourists who like to drive on 50km roads at 30km also adds to the sheer enjoyment of driving in this country.

I used to complain about Australian drivers, but at least as a whole, we can drive.

Going to work yesterday got a red light I was the first car of the line.Noticed the young girl behide me not looking eyes down.
At green I was about 15 to 20 car spots ahead she had not moved ....
Clearly on phone.....the laws need to be harsher people on phones in cars etc...IMO.

it was worse when they used to have 2 lanes go into one halfway round one of the roundabouts

if people could a) read signs and b) drive in their own lane while going around a corner they wouldn't be an issue


unfortunately people can't do either of those things

Drivers not getting into their turning lanes at a decent time shites me the most .
Seen cars driving pretty much in middle of the road move over pretty much at the turn way past the turing lane entrance.
It's not hard to move over into your turning lane...

Noticed bigger people and ladies with big air bags sit thier phone there to talk on speaker while driving ..
I guess it's hands free, but still.

The stop and go numptys had left lane shut and 40 ks.
Everyone moves over to the right and doing 40.

Yet the left lane was not shut what's so ever no need to go 40.
While they sitting in the ute eating ..

I was heading home, and there were roadwork signs right along the road , but no speed limit.
Finally there is this guy with a side arm mower, mowing the ditch along the road, taking up the whole side of the road, going 3-5 km/h.
Now i appreciate that he won the quote to mow the lawns because he did it that way BUT does he really have a permit to block the whole road, because its double lines right along and there was no LEGAL way to get past him.

One day I was washing the dogs .
Next min I see this bloke hi vis not stop and go.put up his hands blocked traffic so his mate could back into the motel next door.

Funny thing they could of driven in normal prenty of space to turn around in that place.
I think they had 2drive ways.

I don't understand the silly-ness in drivers .

Last night coming back from a day out up the GOR .
People with high beams on , not really needed imo ..one car flashed them right at me, my lights are not super bright .


Then coming back from the surf coast car in front puts blinker on to go left also ready a car in that lane.
Then goes down the slip lane from the right lane wtf.
