The only players who will actually be considered are Vegas and Hawk.

Hawk was very good last week and OK today, whilst Vegas was OK last week and very good today, especially in the last.

Scarlo is an automatic inclusion, probably at the expense of Taylor (very, very, very, very stiff) whilst Stokes will probably come back, probably at the expense of Varcoe who is also very stiff.

Lonergan will probably keep his spot for this week and Hawk will play again in the VFL next week. Just cannot think of anyone to come out for Vegas to get a game.

Tassie papers are talking up the game of an 18yo Devils player called Mitch Robinson (blonde hair, played off Half Back for anyone at the game), suggesting his run, chase and tackling were very good.

Sounds like the sort of young player we could find a spot for on the list.

Anyone notice him? Thoughts?

Thought Gambles intensity was immense. He really looked angry out there. haha.

Djerkurra was also fantastic. He has really come on lately.

Tenace couldn't take a mark terrible.

Playing more through the midfield now, which is good to see.

Problem is although he's probably winning 20 possessions, so is his opponent.

But his form has been really promising the last few weeks.

First off... Ryan Gamble. He played amazing! Flying high, taking spectacular grabs, running his guts out and booting 5 goals. He really got our team fired up and was the match winner. Ryan IMO was our best on ground by miles.

During the second half David Johnson was involved in a collision with a Tassie player and was sent off with blood streaming down his face. He had received a cut just above his eye and went down the race probably to get stitches. Luckily for us he was back out to resume the game with his head bandaged. So yuckkkk! The Tassie player in the collision had blood pouring out of his head!!!! His hand was covered with blood too, he looked like he was going to faint (and so was I lol). Surprisingly he came back on later in the match but surely he would have been concussed??!

Tom Hawkins was pretty good up forward. He lead well and was taking some strong grabs. I think it was a bit tough for him with what our midfield presented him.

Our midfield struggled without Byrnes (should be back next week), Wojak and Prissa. I felt that we didn't have that pace in the midfield that we are renowned for. It was as if we were missing the linking play in the midfield so there were many MANY turnovers just outside our forward 50. Our defense was working overtime because of so many turnovers up forward. They really stood up to the task and never let Tassie out of site.

Adam Donohue had a pretty good game too. Great to see him getting plenty of possessions and using the ball well. He seems to have some pretty good decision making skills. Is definitely a player to keep for the future.

Was also great to see Koula and Thurley making an appearance for Tasmania. Koula got a few possessions but gave away a few easy free kicks and was obviously frustrated.

Great win in the end by the boys and I was very proud of the 4 quarter effort. GO CATS!!!

Awesome to hear Djerkurra played well, hopefully he can get stringing some games together. Bit annoying to hear Hawkins dished off a few times instead of taking the shot, he needs to realise its ok to be greedy in the forward line when it comes to set shots.

Gamble should be back in the A's this wk. He has played 4 games in the reserves this year and has had a BOG and two second best on performances in 4 games deserves to back in the side and has been kicking goals. was un lucky not to get a game last wk against west coast. he cant do much more than hes been doing in the vfl.
