you havent answered why the coach played a player he knew was taking drugs during the week
They didn't KNOW anything with 100% certainty - they had suspicions via rumour and his conduct.
You cannot take the work of someone telling you they saw Ben Cousins taking ice without evidence...or can you?
Be back later, im going to tell Roosy I saw Kirk, Hall, Goodes and Barry taking drugs on the weekend.
cya!
Problem is your coach has the qualifications to know what his conduct could sugest.....
How was Worfold meant to know Cousins was still taking drugs? After his initial indiscretion Worsfold had no need to follow it up to ensure Cousins was in a fit state. It's absurd to think that a club would continue to monitor a player out of concern for his welfare. A drug test would catch him before he became an addict anyway.you havent answered why the coach played a player he knew was taking drugs during the week
wrong!no he didnt know, he stated he knew he was having problems, not their exact nature
oh but he did, he stated that he knew the issues in July, why didnt he stand him down in July?
precisely - COULD
WC supporters, do you think this will all go away when the 1st ball is bounced for the season?
You are kidding your selves if you think that.
The Sydney media has its teeth into this. They will have a ball with this for a long while yet.Sydney team beaten by 1 point in Gf, and NRL town, stick the boots into our code.
It won't be over for ages yet.
He did Fu Manchu.
Though it is little wonder Benny considers himself invincible when He stuffs up and gets spun up as a hero because of it.

WE know.
Its been a ridiculous ride for us supporters and as truths are made our pride is taking massive, massive blows.
Football is all we have to grasp atm please dont take it away from us.
As to Ben being threatened by the WADA I hope they get him.
He has disgraced my once Great club now I have to FREAKIN hide away otherwise all I hear about is drugs this and drugs that.
Im looking forward to the year 2032.
they addressed the issues they knew about for sure, him missing training.wrong!
he said he addressed the issues by way of letter
how do you address issues if you dont know their exact nature?
How could a club believe what Cousins said after his litany of off field indiscretions? Would you believe a word cousins said to you, given what he is prepared to do to escape scrutiny for his off field behaviours? ie: run from a booze bus, refuse to answer questions that the club directed him to answer. How was Worfold meant to know Cousins was still taking drugs? I dont care where it ends up, this aint a troll, this is asking pertinent questions and having west Coast revisionists try and rewrite history to paint their club in a better light.they addressed the issues they knew about for sure, him missing training.
this has been answered and you have been bitchslapped a dozen times on this thread, you are simply asking the same question over and over again to be a ********.

Once it came to their attention the exact nature of his problems, they should have stood him down and put the onus on the player to prove he is meeting his contractual obligations, especially as it came to light that he breached them by using banned substances.
Thank god people are finally prepared to call a spade a spade and move beyond the feel sorry for Benny line.
Once the Eagles admitted they knew he had a problem last year the AFL should have started an investigation. As I said in the "Woosha is a god thread" after his performance on TFS, they are admitting they played a player they at best suspected and at worst knew was using banned substances.
It has to be investigated what he was taking and just as importantly what the Eagles knew. If it shown that West Coast officials knew then both them and Ben should be facing a 2 year ban.
I think WCE deserved to win the GF last year (being a sydney supporter), but if Ben Cousins is banned for use of banned substances during the season, it stands to reason that the club should be stripped of draft picks/funds/points & 2006 premiership for knowing about a players use of the substance, and yet failing, or refusing to do anything to prevent/fix the situation. A big downer for the rest of the team, but this is team sports, you cannot blame just one player, others must fall for ones stupidity.
this is plainly a troll. you ignore answers and ask the same question over and over again.I dont care where it ends up, this aint a troll, this is asking pertinent questions and having west Coast revisionists try and rewrite history to paint their club in a better light.
ah, the spinHe did Fu Manchu.

ah, the spin
I'm sure you agree that they have been remiss in their handling of cousins
and a few of you argue semantics which I've picked to piecesthis is plainly a troll. you ignore answers and ask the same question over and over again.
bay 13 for you
For sure , and as that article proves , you cannot take what the clubs says at face value , unfortunately.
WC supporters, do you think this will all go away when the 1st ball is bounced for the season?

Not for one second do I think that this is going to go away! And I look forward to further intelligent debate on the issue.
But not for one second am I going to denounce a club champion on mere rumour, innuendo and speculation. As far as I can see the evidence points directly at the fact that Cousins trained hard and played well. There is nothing supporting the theories that have been sprouted on this thread or in that article and I'll be goddamned if I'm going to accept the mantle of drug cheats to my hard working team.
I look forward to any investigations into this and as I've said before, once Cousins is found to not have been under the influence of performance enhancing drugs, I look forward to the media's endeavours to relay this to everyone here - as I'm sure they will
