Unfortunately seems like we won't be getting too much pressure from Tredrea this week, hands tied in courtroom 9..

It's not the easiest to reconcile "Warren Tredrea the Genius" (record as a player, untenable comments) with Warren Tredrea the Buffoon (this shit). It's certainly doable, and there are plenty of cases in society where a smart person can make a shit call or vice versa, but it's a real dent in the credibility of the man we need to save us from Hinkley.

Somebody can be knowledgeable in one area and be ignorant in another. Tredrea is a football person, he knows about football. I don't care whether or not Nicola Spurrier thinks we should sack Hinkley.

Trump would definitely be a Sack Hinkley man, although he'd probably prefer Fire Hinkley.
Depends if Hinkley was nice to him or not. Trump's entire judgment of a person's competence and character is based entirely on whether they're nice to him. Hinkley would only be a few compliments away from Trump joining the Cornes/Whateley protection racket.

What does Warren need to learn about the club. He played there, his dad played and coached there and he is a Premiership captain. What could he learn? More stupid s**t from Koch who lives in Sydney and who has spent a lot less time at Alberton than Warren or his dad.
Why are you asking me? Ask your president.
If you want to ask me, my answer would be that Warren Tredrea could learn about how Port intends to become carbon neutral and strives to make their community proud.
The trolling is becoming a bore old mate
Quoting your president is trolling now is it?

Warren Tredrea says his Nine News colleagues “won media awards off the back of me”

Arrogant twat.

Did he f**k your girlfriend? Or better yet, tell you the truth, that Eddie Van Halen is little more than a rank scales guitarist with no originality?

It doesn't sound that you have a point and purpose.

He refused to be vaccinated which was against company regulations and government mandated during a pandemic. They're within their right to keep other employees safe.Too bad you entitled egg.. you made your choice.

Absolutely nobody has won these cases in court. Waste of courts time.

Just fight the good fight Warren and focus on screwing the screws tighter on ken

Yeah, the all-or-nothing United Statesified polarisation that’s crept in over the past few years is ridiculous.

It’s still okay to compartmentalise, and agree and disagree on different topics without one necessarily validating/invalidating the other by default.

This is the internet, you're supposed to leave accepted norms of civilised human interaction at the door.

Tredders pretty much made himself a laughing stock with his anti vax stance, and he got further embarrassed by potting Stinkley (rightly) right before we won 13 in a row. His credibility is pretty low right now even though he was one million percent correct on donuts. But going through with this case (which will lose) is pretty embarrassing.

FFS he's not an anti vaxxer and the more we know about the vaccine and omicron he's made a reasonable personal choice and at the end of the day that's where it should have stopped for places like channel 9. I still don't understand the attitude of wanting the blood of others who didn't make the same choice. I took the vaccine, I then couldn't give a **** if I ran into unvaccinated people because I had a vaccine, just like if I run into someone with Polio or Measles. What happened to him and others, losing their livelihood because they chose to not inject themselves is to far removed from what was the accepted societal norm before peak covid fear hit.

Prior to the pandemic I was firmly in the 'Tredders for President' camp but Tredders' court case has raised doubts. It is not a good look as it suggests that Warren might not be the team player we all though he was. Off the field at least.

Obviously the media involvement in Tredders' case means they will be all over it as is the case on the front page of today's press.

I suspect this case, regardless of it's outcome, may quash Warren's chances of becoming the next Port Chairman. Sadly the Chairmanship is no longer determined by the Members but by the backroom boys at the AFL and SANFL. What are the odds of the next Board leader being a female?

We are a copycat club, so yeah I can see a female as the next chair. We tend to be late to the party but then take it to extremes. I.e. staying the course with a coach for 8 years because two other clubs did and won flags ... we're heading into a possible 12 to 14 years.

He made a choice and so did channel 9.
