We’re Going to be Slaughtered by Geelong

Well I hoped you turned your TV off as you promised as Geelong played rubbish football as well. Where was your famous running game?

They played zone footy as well so don't too precious about being negative on negative football. Or just another typical hypocrite.

Geelong have almost exactly copied the style of football we were playing when we were on our tear the last couple of seasons.

To say we flood worse than anyone is complete bullshit, at the moment we're hamstrung by injuries, so we're battling through as well as we can.

Seriously, I expect a huge percentage booster for the Cats this week. They are without doubt the form team of the competition, and their game style will give the Crows nightmares. They are a quick team who love to play direct, attacking football. Ling is the best tagger in the league, so expect Goodwin to have a quiet game, and Bartel, Ablett, Corey and co are all ball winning midfielders whoe are extremely damaging midfielders, especially the first two.

If Ablett pushes forward who will stop him? Johncock maybe, but he’s not at full fitness yet. Chapman is one of the most underrated players in the league as he can play through the midfield and up forward and dominate at either position. I’d give Mattner the role on him but he’s going to have to be on his game.

Steve Johnson is in the best form of his life, and Ottens, Mooney and Ablett and all tall options who will give our defence a lot of grief. Then there’s the speedster Travis Varcoe who McLeod might have to man.

David Wojcinski is the one to watch though, he will cut us up with his speed and creativity off the half back flank. When he goes on one of his runs forward, I have no idea who’ll be able to stop him.

We could be embarrassed come next Sunday.
Thought about taking a job as a team psychiatrist?

I hear the English cricket team are looking for new staff.

Argh i was wrong, I promised Crows would win if we got more free kicks (we got one more then Cats)

BUT it kinda proves a point, If the crows can get there free kick count fairly even then we stand a greater chance. Stats show that the team that wins the most free kicks usually wins the game. Maybe we should teach the boys to act :thumbsu: lol

The one that cost us I reackon was the incorrect call on the Hound Dog going back with the flight of the ball and getting called for going up the front.

Had his eyes on the ball. Pity the green grub didn't.

Mark, that was down our end and the ump paid it as a push in the back, clear signal from the ump - pity he actually landed on his legs.

The other one that Mooney got for the push in the back on Rutten where Truck landed over him on all fours to ensure that he didn't touch Mooney showed our FB has a brain in his head. Then Mooney was given a very generous angle as well by the umpire who actually marked the free from where Truck was standing on the little angle inside where he knew the mark was going to be instead of on the line as that was where the incident occured.
It was nothing short of disgraceful by the men in green the other day, seriously glasses were required.

Take those two gimmies out and that's one goal only instead to Mooney.

Well we didn't win but we weren't slaughtered like those clowns Drummond and maccasno1 suggested, i am sick of those two whiny bitches being so ####ing negative. I bet you are both extremely disappointed you couldn't bump this thread with a "hahahaha told youse so".
