yes its me bringing up dingley again but some intresting points about the KCC in this interview including the hope to have it ready by August next year...
Oh, you want renders. That render is so lame. Does not inspire at all. The Lions facility at Springfield is the benchmark here.

That is better. Is this still the current plan? Why would the club use an image that looks like a local park that needs the grass mowed?
I'm a bit concerned that all of our players appear to have turned into shadows but trust the process I guess...
I don’t know what the up to date current plan is. I would be guessing. That is better. Is this still the current plan? Why would the club use an image that looks like a local park that needs the grass mowed?

a couple on the hawks foundation website aswell Kennedy Community Centre
Yeah think that’s part of stage 2 along with the medical facilityI think the 2nd building on the left oval is the community facilities (basketball courts, swimming pool etc..) these were what Justin Reeves mentioned in the announcement of the construction contract when he said the club is able to fund its own needs but in order to build the community facilities government funding would be needed.
The bright green site in the middle of a drab wasteland makes it look like we are building facilities in DubaiFor those who are interested, we have an existing 'approval' for the works and hence why construction has begun, however there are currently a number of changes which have been made and are currently going through Council. The below images form part of the package (i.e. for the current amendment).
It's worth noting that these are for the purpose of the planning application, and I would strongly suspect (or at least hope) that Hawthorn will prepare formal 'marketing' images as it comes together to increase the hype.
Here are a few up to date pictures (but not yet approved - so pardon my screenshots):

I thought it was being done in stages - one oval at a time? From the clubs monthly update (Justin Reeves section)View attachment 1649055
think they decided to just finish all the football club elements at once and then the second stage will be all the community elements, Also from this do we know if they are still putting in a highball centre in the next stage?I thought it was being done in stages - one oval at a time?
Think there’s gonna be a function centre in the grandstand but don’t know if it will be a social club aswellWill there be a social club at Dingley?
Original plan had 3 full sized ovals didn't it?I believe 2 ovals will be part of stage 1. Community funding will be spent straight away because governments tend not to provide funds just to have recipients sit on the money. The 2 ovals and surrounding buildings do not take up the entire land space and there is scope for further development (stage 2) if required.
