Unbelievable win. What else can you say? Having come aboard on the end of the goldern era in 1992, I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd see a Premiership after all those turbulent years. Now I've seen 3 GF's and TWO Premierships!!! Can't believe it!!!

Congratulations on the Premiership win guys Definitely caps off a very good season, and will silence the critics who would have continued to label you guys underachievers if you failed to win.

In all honesty, it wasn't the most entertaining Grand Final. I don't think any team truly dominated at all in the end. Fremantle were shocking and raw to the occasion in the first half which played a part, if you guys were at your best it would have been game over at half time. I thought the difference was the Hawks composure and leadership across the four quarters with better ball use, and the fact you guys held up well despite a strong final few minutes and a much better third quarter by the Dockers. I think the one stage of the game that truly won the game for you guys, was the first 15 or so minutes of the final quarter, your mob really took the game on and dominated the game. Fremantle got a taste of their own medicine and could not get outside of the Hawks forward half. That was the only time in the game where a team really stood out, and like all Grand Final winners, its the team that stands up when it matters that wins the game. And that was the defining moment I thought and showed just why you guys were the best team for the season 2013.

Must be happy with Brian Lake for the Norm Smith medal, even though I know a lot of people are bagging him for winning it, saying he is undeserved, but I thought he had a solid game. The midfielders shared it around with no one truly standing out. So it was either Lake or Gunston, and I thought Lake had a decent four quarter game with a huge last quarter. Intercepted many Fremantle kicks inside 50 and did a good job on Pavlich. A pretty good pick up by the Hawks.

Enjoy the win, they don't come often.
