At the start of the year Malifice clearly rated Anthony as better than JR. Earlier in this thread I wondered whether he still held this opinion. He asked for evidence he ever held this position, I gave it.

Malifice's opinion would not have changed because he was correct at the time he posted that initial comment.

What past of the conditional statements 'at the moment' and 'based on past performance' did you miss?

Theres a difference between putting your best 22 on the park today, and rating a player (and their value to a team) based on potential.

As an example I would've selected Rich over Yarran in my 22 last year should both players have been available, and using the exact same criterion.

That doesn't mean that I rate Rich over Yarran on potential, or that Id rather have Rich on our list rather than Yarran, or that I think Rich is the better player.
