That's good. We should get it written on a poster in the foyer or something ...

They’ve got stuff like “Mediocrity Doesn’t Live Here”, “We Exist To Win Premierships” and The Creed all over the walls down there.

At this point, that and the weekly prisonbar nominee is literally cultural appropriation.

The rough equivalent of a cornrows’d 14 year old Tusmore lass wearing a Bob Marley tee.

"Any club worth its salt will clean out its no-hopers from the doorman, to the head trainer, to the captain.

Keeping no-hopers in these positions, or any other position, is the mark of the non-successful club.

You've got to weed out people who breed an atmosphere of non-professionalism.

They're there for the bloody joke, for the social life, for the prestige. They're not there to win!!

"To be successful, each of us must be active, aggressive and devoted to this cause. We agree
that success is well within our reach and have confidence that each member of both team and
management will suffer personal sacrifices for the common end." - Foster Neil Williams.
Chad Wingard, you're cut.

Last night at a function.
They auctioned off 2 guernseys for a very worthy cause.
The Port signed one went for $650.
The Crows signed one went for $1250.
Then they were able to wrangle a voucher for another Crows one for $1300.
Proud and glad both clubs provided these items but is this a sad indictment of where the 2 lots of supporters feel they are at, or maybe Port supporters are more cash strapped?

Ports people tend to find the cash for club-related things they think are worth it. Who wants to be reminded of the Hinkley era?

The last piece of club merch I bought was a cap from the vendor stand at Adelaide Oval, Port vs Sydney 2020, after I discovered my COVID-improv seats were in the sun.

When the recent batch of GFG prisonbars were released I didn’t give a stuff.

Yet, in 2012 I spent north of $500 to win Alipate’s 100th game matchworn guernsey at auction.

Weird.

I wish I had the motivation and time to keep the We Were Port Adelaide social media pages active - now, more than ever - but it is good to know the content I do have out there is still rustling the right jimmies (and their fathers).

Edit: If there is any interest, I would be happy to hand the keys for both the Facebook and Twitter over to someone (or preferably, a collective) motivated to continue the work. I can even provide the sloppy Photoshop templates I used to create all of the graphics, if necessary.

Division by zero error.
Under Kenny Hinkley;

Flags per seasons coached = 0/9
Grand Final appearances per seasons coached = 0/9
Preliminary Finals wins per season coached = 0/9
Preliminary Finals wins per Premilitary finals played = 0/3
Wins in 2022 per games played = 0/3

What if different people contributed and you just uploaded what you felt comfortable with? Keeps the integrity of the posts.

Can anyone else here do the designs if they have the content given to them (ie particular facts, quotes, statistics etc)

Nothing riles Hinkleyphiles more than cold, hard facts.

As much as I still believe in the cause, I simply don't have the motivation or time to continue my involvement. I would be lying if I said the personal abuse and threats I received from 'True Believers' - which I alluded to earlier in this thread - weren't also a factor.

If a group of respectable, dedicated members are willing to band together and take this over, that would be great. It might be easiest to express your interest below, have discussions with each other, and then let me know. I have just refreshed the Photoshop template for the graphics (pictured below) and I am ready to hand over both social media accounts once everything has been organised.
