An attempted troll of Melbourne fans maybe ??And absolutely bullshit to boot.
I meant as far as the Trade Shouter posting it. Was always going to get plenty of Melbourne fans jumping up and down posting something like that. Which I assume is good for business and attracting followers. Why?
I mean, its highly unlikely but i hope the club have spoken to his manager, put a contract forward to his manager and started selling the club to him.
Burgoyne had major knee problems and was almost going to quit the game until Hawthorn told him they could manage it.
Tippett was hardly a "star" of the game.
Only issue is if Melbourne climb the table. At least we know what the pick is in 2017. Comes down to whether we have a draft target I guess.Shouldn't we be going for 2018 first and Salem
Losing Lever shouldn't be the difference though, our squad is well balanced this time around
This isn't a bad idea, actuallyShouldn't we be going for 2018 first and Salem
If Melbourne are gonna pay Lever the reported $900,000 then Oliver and Petracca will have to be on the cards.

But isn't the quality of 2018 supposed to shit on 2017?Only issue is if Melbourne climb the table. At least we know what the pick is in 2017. Comes down to whether we have a draft target I guess.
Go back a month or two and Melbourne were just about flag favourites with many in the AFL media. After they beat us at home, they had their tyres pumped up massively. Their best was more than good enough to play finals this year, they just didn't do enough throughout the year to earn a spot. Had they finished in 8th, I think they would have demolished Port. If you were taking their first pick of next year, you would want to be working off being between pick 12-16. Which wouldn't be close to enough to land Rankine if he has another good year next year at u/18 level. This isn't a bad idea, actually
Imagine if Melbourne slips to 10th/11th and Rankine/Rozee slides, that's a very good deal
But then again, they're very likely to climb, too
