So the last time he was at Carlton was 2018 as midfield coach.

We had 2 wins. A percentage of 59.

We had our youngest list, most injuries during the rebuild. Add to that, Bolton pumping games into young players over seasoned bodies.

Will keep banging on, it's more about the list rather than the priority of having the best coach/s available

Clarko in 2013-15, same coach last 2 year

Sounds like Cripps liked him at least.

Why is that, you know his skills well i presume. What does he lack?

Observation of the team and midfield can give some insight mate. Cool your jets.

Some insight yes..

But first hand knowledge, observation and input from other Coaches/key people like Diesel/Cook/Voss, an interview process, references from other quality football people surely provides greater insight than watching on TV or from the rafters..

Surely?

Yup also very valid. I actually didn't say anything negative about the signing and wish him all the best.

I'm glad we have an experienced coach who has familiarity with some of our players but also a taste of how other clubs do it.

I also think for the personnel they have, GCS midfield functioned very well, their 2021 season as a whole was underrated.

I was just calling out the snide remarks from that flog who insinuated people can't have an opinion because they weren't on the GCS staff. Give us a break!

Some insight, not much, not enough to pop off like they KNOW it's a not a good signing.

I’ve told you previously KP “don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story“...............

Hope he brings Stuart Dew's diet plan with him! Welcome back.

Gerard Healy on 3AW just said Tim Clarke is a huge pickup - very highly rated in the industry.
