Flair and talent ridiculously obvious here, whenever I've seen him play he's had the tendency to have a brain fade or two but there's so, so much to work with and I for one am pleased he's here.
Yeah when Walsh arrived we seemed to get quicker but our recruiting strategy in 2014 didn't really reflect that aside from maybe drafting Wilson. Now in 2015 we seem to going after multiple players who will add speed. I like it.
Not just pace, but good users of the ball.
McAdam's an effwit. You want to see rage from a coach at an umpire, then Gilbert's your man. I was standing on the HBF the day that Adrian jumped the fence and wanted to punch on with the crowd. That paled into insignificance listening to Gilbert to let fly at the umps and anyone else when he was coaching. An absolute disgrace. But that's just my personal experience with him, I'm sure others have very different views.

Liked the bit in the interview video about keeping Eddie to one goal, and that being the one where Curtly was being blocked by the umpire.

Some ability to lace out a leading forward might finally see us go beyond the standard bomb and hope forward entry we are renowned for.
I feel like he has an awful lot of potential. Hopefully the likes of Betts, McLeod and Cameron (doesn't have to be the indigenous blokes, but they tend to band together) can help him fulfill that potential.
This trade could easily be looked back on very fondly if we get the best out of him.

It always makes me so jealous seeing all those guys playing basketball together in Macca's backyard. Wonder if Curtly will get an automatic invite?
