You've really never heard of him? He was the first player picked by the Giants.Just love the trade/draft period. I'm excited about getting a player I'd never even heard of two weeks ago!

im actually a bit shocked we've added alot of speed to the side this year, maybe a different brand of football now.
Not just pace, but good users of the ball.Yeah when Walsh arrived we seemed to get quicker but our recruiting strategy in 2014 didn't really reflect that aside from maybe drafting Wilson. Now in 2015 we seem to going after multiple players who will add speed. I like it.
And won't his uncle Gilbert McAdam of Marngrook Footy Show fame be wrapped to see his nephew finally getting his chance at a "good" club, tons of A grade potential with Curtly, let's now hope he can turn that potential into a consistent AFL quality A grade performance.
Welcome Curtly!
Let's make sure you fulfill that potential as a Crow and turn into a superstar.

Was just going to post something along these lines. Eddie's been one of our best pick-ups ever.Seems like an absolute ripping young lad!
And getting Bettsy into the club has been worth so much more than his on-field endeavours, the way he welcomes new recruits and takes the indigenous boys under his wing is phenomenal.
Think it's more a case of GWS having no use for 28-32 and wanting to bank another pick for points for next years academy players. So I'm thinking it's a future pick because we wanna do something this year with 28-32?
Geez, Keep it relevant boys.McAdam's an effwit. You want to see rage from a coach at an umpire, then Gilbert's your man. I was standing on the HBF the day that Adrian jumped the fence and wanted to punch on with the crowd. That paled into insignificance listening to Gilbert to let fly at the umps and anyone else when he was coaching. An absolute disgrace. But that's just my personal experience with him, I'm sure others have very different views.
I feel like he has an awful lot of potential. Hopefully the likes of Betts, McLeod and Cameron (doesn't have to be the indigenous blokes, but they tend to band together) can help him fulfill that potential.
This trade could easily be looked back on very fondly if we get the best out of him.
