I am really looking forward to the day we have fully fit Hewett and Culley playing alongside Harley.

Along with Yeo and Ginbey that is five big strong mids. ;):oops:

Are we going too far adding a 194cm Smillie?

Just need Harely to get everyone's 'don't argue' technique up to his standards and then bring on the running of the bulls.:tearsofjoy:
Don't forget Hall. Reid says Hall was the only one back home who could stop him consistently!
Friends both traded to WC and both midfielders, augurs well for our future..
Just want to see what Hall brings!?

Hall's from Perth...

They ended up mates after they played on each other in the champs at the WACA.

Feel like Reid and Dusty have a similar fend off, but Reid is more slippery, can arch his back like Toby Greene and Cousins to give would be tacklers the slip
His Jujutsu training could have a lot to do with how he can break tackles and movie the heavier players around.

Should start all the younger players on it straight away.

Yall remember that time Harley was still 17 and playing against WA and Hewett came up to tackle him and he fended him off and it caused a few issues and they made a movie about it because hundreds of thousands of people died because of it?

Oppenheimer, it's called.

Papley he copped a good don't argue sweet to. Quite delish.

Grundy yes, Heeney yes, Rowbottom don't argue yes.

They probably count the one where he kicked his goal as a broken tackle, or in Kelli Underwoods case... TWO broken tackles.

Hmm maybe the numbers are legit afterall, looks like there's more i haven't seen. i've only watched the VFL.com highlights in that short clip rather than Alesanna's good one's because they don't work on the work computer :sadv1:
Have you considered looking for a new job?

So took my 6 year old son to soccer training this evening (Vic based) and he scored a goal. He did the shirt grab celebration 🤣

Fair to say the household is a fan of reid.

What's with Soccer and the kids getting into training so young? One of my little blokes school mates wanted him to play last year. He'd just turned 5 and the expectation was there would be training as well as a weekend game.

This year he's playing AusKick and it's game only, I don't think they start any training until around 8 years old

edit no judgement - genuine curiosity and wondering if it's just code related.

Yeah 8 year old boy is now training once a week plus the weekend game now after 2 years of Auskick. First year was just fun drills then some small games with set zones, second year was mainly drills and a few games against other clubs but no tackling, no set zones but forwards and backs were expected to stay at their ends. This year is proper games with full contact. Should be interesting.

Interesting how even if you protect the young player at half back rather than put him in the middle you still get criticised can't win.

He's right though. Sheezel's in his second season now, so should be used more in the middle and going forward.

He could have 50 touches and they'd be worthless if it's short kicks across half back.
