Had a taste of it. Understands the speed differences. Bring back switta for next week and let him have a few weeks smashing the wafl. Could be handy inclusion later in the season when we need some energy.

Pretty easy decision i feel, that he makes way for Switta.

The kid will be great for us and he's had a good taste now, but if Switta is fit then its an easy call.

Yesterday in the opening quarter or two I barely noticed Simpson - it took him a while to get his first touch and i barely even saw him in the vision on screen.

I am a fan of his though, but time for him to head back to peel and get some good numbers.

Would need a massive preseason, still a lot to work on, but definitely has the potential.

If we were allowed to play the extra forward off the back of the square at the bounce he would be that sort of player.

Cooper has great potential and needs a clear run to build into it. Very happy he ran out the season.

These things happen quick.
He was playing inside mid in Juniors.
He’s in the dead zone on half forward at Peel. Is that fitness or that Brodie and Erasmus etc had the mid zone sown up?

I’d be sticking him with Brayshaw all summer…100 x 100’s on Christmas Day sort of stuff.
When Brodie gets traded out we stick Cooper in the middle and watch what happens.

It will come. He could even be the classy winger we need if Noddy is going inside.

As has been mentioned by other posters he gets himself into decent positions at times but is either ignored or just bypassed. Emmett missed him a couple of times, as did Brady Grey. Perhaps he needs to use his voice better or maybe not quite in the right position to be in the kickers field of Vision. He had also a few times been pushed off the ball when going in to collect.

A bit more confidence, increased endurance and added pre-season muscle and he should be impacting the WAFL games more next year.
