A pre preseason. But I suspect he will go home to be with family over the break. As has been mentioned by other posters he gets himself into decent positions at times but is either ignored or just bypassed. Emmett missed him a couple of times, as did Brady Grey. Perhaps he needs to use his voice better or maybe not quite in the right position to be in the kickers field of Vision. He had also a few times been pushed off the ball when going in to collect.
A bit more confidence, increased endurance and added pre-season muscle and he should be impacting the WAFL games more next year.

his build is actually bigger than people think as well. he built pretty simlar to serong but it probably and inch and a half taller.I think he’s a midfielder that kicks goals rather than the small forward we need tbh. A midfielder that kicks goals is still a very useful player to have.
No he's not lol, I've spoken to him. Still got some lifting to do.his build is actually bigger than people think as well. he built pretty simlar to serong but it probably and inch and a half taller.
I was at the Peel Subi game with my son early in the season and he happened to take an oobof free right in front of us while we were on the fence, so he was like 1.5 metres away: He looked pretty well built for someone who had only turned 19 a couple of month before. I don't think his final size is going to be that much bigger.his build is actually bigger than people think as well. he built pretty simlar to serong but it probably and inch and a half taller.
His arms are like twigs still. Was watching them warm up from the boundary on Sunday, he's wrists looked like they could snap in two compared to everyone. There is a lot of muscle to add.No he's not lol, I've spoken to him. Still got some lifting to do.
i'm more talking about what he will be rather than currently. No he's not lol, I've spoken to him. Still got some lifting to do.
He already has great tackling technique. When he adds muscle with his natural pace I think he'll be Switta like with his tackle pressure. His arms are like twigs still. Well he has managed 149 games of AFL football. But in a good way, right?
I watched a replay of the Peel GF on TV and was looking out for Simpson closely as I have been reading the comments about him. I think the kid can play. His pass across to a player if front of the goal was a ripper and his handball and run on was great. He just needs to mature and learn and hopefully he can go into the Freo midfield and add some speed and kick a dart to a leading Amiss. Just dreamin a bit there! He already has great tackling technique. When he adds muscle with his natural pace I think he'll be Switta like with his tackle pressure.
This may be a bit of a left field comment, but if it doesn't work out for him at half-forward he would make an awesome rebounding defender with his pace and foot skills.
Wouldn't look out of place next to Clark and Walker provided he learnt how to defend properly.
Dare I say it...zorko like?
Kind of..?
He wouldn't have much problem finding the ball off of half back!He needs to fund more of the ball
His skills are elite
Every single one of them somewhere between poor and mediocre.Well he has managed 149 games of AFL football.
Wow, we're just completely ignoring those two back to back games in 2020 when he polled Brownlow votesEvery single one of them somewhere between poor and mediocre.

Never him. Always Blakely. And everything we had seen of Blakely suggested that. Not our fault he went downhill faster than Will BrodieIt was ok that Neale was leaving because he was going to step up and fill the void lol.
