How do you know he knocked Brady out? There is no evidence that it was the swinging arm. It could just as well have been Brady hitting Treacy's knee or the contact with the ground. The fact that no Perth player remonstrated and the ump didn't think it warranted a report despite looking straight at it makes me think it was the latter.

Nope. The rule is you can't play at any level until your suspension is completed. Practice games/scratch matches obviously don't count.
It's Freo so nobody will give enough of a shit to change anything.

The alignment clause needs to change, any penalty to an AFL player should include all eligible matches. If the tribunal got the grading right in the first place and it was during the home and away season he’d only miss 1 game. It’s a disgrace really. What’s also annoying is nearly everyone on this thread could tell it wasn’t deliberate, why couldn’t a supposedly qualified tribunal see that?

Why not? What if WA goes CoVid again again and the WAFL is delayed for a few months. How long before the two week suspension is completed? WAFL hierarchy is a joke.
Yeah look possibly but it looked bad and it resulted in him being concussed, but in saying that the footage we all saw was definitely not conclusive, but, do we ever wins these 50/50 ones at the tribunal? Never.

Thems the rules. You have to serve the ban in whatever league you were playing in. He was suspended by the WAFL so he has to sit out 2 WAFL games. Whether the seasons line up or not is irrelevant which is a major crux of the issue.

Seems the rules were made when the WAFL was a real competition, not the joke it is now.
Oh well he’ll have to make sure he dominates at AFL level and never has to go back to the WAFL as by the end of the year he’ll have a 100+ WAFL suspension hanging over his head
