I remember watching thinking Henry put in a few more good defensive efforts this game but on reflection it was by far his best defensive game. Ran super hard both ways and had a couple of key pressure acts that saved shots on goal

I don't mind Henry being non committal in the media, he has nothing to gain by giving away the option of leaving. If he wants more money then he holds out, if he wants it done he would just sign.

I expect all parties know what the competing deals are and where Henry fits into the list structure.

This is it. All but confirmed it, he doesn't want to be here anymore because he was running around for Peel earlier this season.

I think people have gotten off the drizzy train bit early.

Think with a full uninterrupted pre season under his belt his fitness will improve and so will his skills. Some might even say if he does recapture it, he would be more damaging winger than Henry. Also maybe can rotate in mid, perhaps

For real, he was so good last year. Hopefully he figures out whatever he needs to figure out to become a consistent player.

This is reading between the lines though, not what they actually said, plenty open to misinterpretation obviously. They're two people who have been burnt before trying to be confident on potential re-signings (moreso Bell), so you can see why they would be more circumspect when contracts aren't signed.

This extensive reading into a slither of a post-game interaction is another example of reading between the lines. Not likely much is there re Henry's contract, not least likely for the fact anytime I've heard players ask about teammates rumoured to be leaving they 95% of the time firmly say they stay away from discussing the contract stuff no matter how close they are.

I think Henry is gone. He didn’t deserve his spot when he thought he did, now he does but his ego is hurt, it happens.

Someone else is whispering to him about how great he is and it’s fertile ground.

I actually think that we will end up with better wingers than Henry in the long run, between Driz and Stanley, as much as Henry has come on this year.

I honestly think he’ll go somewhere else and not be held to the same standards, and therefore not deliver on his potential.

Ultimately I think Henry’s view of his ability doesn’t align with the coaches.

The only thing I can say in Henry’s favour, is other players at Freo don’t appear to held to the same standards sometimes, and are kept in the side on the back of multiple poor performances based on reputation.

I don't think it's about letting him go though, I legit think he just wants to leave. What can you do really?
