"Meanwhile, Geelong suffered an injury blow with defender Cam Delaney sustaining a hamstring injury in the Cats' VFL loss to Box Hill."

Just saw this in the Age!
Hope they got it wrong!
Heard Palouras did a hamstring so hopefully they just got mixed up!

oh no! But it's something that can easily happen when a bloke's been out of the game for so long. If it IS a hammy, then I hope it's just minor :(

"Cameron Delaney was put on ice at half time whilst Kieran Paliouras suffered a hamstring injury, leaving the home side with only three rotations.

Despite the lopsided result, the biggest positive to come out of the day was the return of Cam Delaney.

Delaney played his first game for the Cats and collected 10 possessions and four marks in a half of football.

“He was really good, he looked strong and he made good decisions and used the ball pretty well for the most part. A really good comeback performance from Cam,” Hood said."

Feel much better now!
Just think the Age got it wrong!

Ah, thanks, Daniel. Yes, sounded much more positive and lazy journalism will find it easy to miss important words such as another player's name inserted mid-sentence.

Its mistake yes - but an easy one to make as they both left the ground at the same time and didn't return.

not lie they made the front page and defamed the club and the players at all…:thumbsdown:

oh wait….

Go Catters

That is really good news, hope we get him back up and running and could be a good defender for us going forward

Wow could it be that next season we start with a full list ???? And we have serious depth as a result ????

Imagine having Delaney and Menzel available from round 1 - and maybe McCarthy as well.

He did rabbi. You know of him?

Yep. I have followed the Super Saints since I was a kid.
My oldest brother played for them in the 60's and early 70's before moving to Broady West to teach. He used to take me along to games. I can still remember when Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove were one club and had the letters BHOG on their jumpers. I just called them the B-Hogs.
I played Jr footy for them but got distracted by the Bruce Lee phenomena in the mid 70's and got into martial arts, where I ruined my left knee. Mind you, my legs were never very good in the first place.

Jr reminded me very much of him and I suspected that Cameron may have been his kid.

They may say "you're a dreamer". But you're not the only one.

Rab... his brother at the Saints... worth a look if cheap? Luke seems to me be the goal square gorilla type.

But is he available?

I'd say no, he is no good IMO

Good for what they want, no good for a team that wants to go anywhere

No idea... just asking your opinion on him... and with the emergence of Goddard he may seem surplus and tradable

I know zilch about him.
