Ginnivan is a good get for the Hawks!

Some of you are carrying in like we gave up a first round draft pick for him!

Ginni is not the finished product yet, he knows it, Sam Knows it and the Hawks know it!

It up to those three to develop him further strengths and weaknesses!

An as Sam does like to focus on strengths, his strength is kicking goals and that is our weakness!

Another 40 goals a year, some of those close loses will be wins in 2024.

Oh yeah, 100% I'd back Sam and the team in to get the most out of him. I'm just saying it isn't quite the unqualified coup that some are making it out to be.

He gets his confidence and eccentric behavior from his old man, who was running around with his brother kicking goals and being a cheeky boy in his hi-vis boots in the local leagues way back. I like it, he will annoy the opposition and maybe we can finally get a free kick for someone being pushed over in front of goal.

The guy is 20 years old, pretty confident his love of the Hawks and guidance of Sam an Co will see him mature off field as well.

I think the reason all of us are so invested with something like this is because he now gets to live out all of our childhood dreams in playing for the HFC. Not all players for whatever reason get to live this dream and it's almost like a part of their childhood dies with not being able to do so.

Must be hard if your seen your team win and lose GF’s being a Hawthorn supporter.

Did you post somewhere about Ginni reportedly taking a video of McStay doing something w/ his partner and Ginni then threatening to make it go viral as payback for McStay dobbing Ginni in for something?

He's one of my favourite non hawks players and I've seen him do some amazing stuff. And those that think he will be troublesome I think he will mature more and adopt the hawks family like structure and the likes of sicily hopefuly gunners and bluest will take him under their wings!

Jack lacks the physical attributes some small forwards possess ( pace, athleticism) but has a very high footy IQ. Things happen when he touches the pill. I'm sad to see him go. He was the army's favourite so I don't think he'll ever get booed or abused by the Pie fans.

**** me - there’s shades of grey in this world you pious git. Check the post on the previous page where he’s taken time out to send a message to a moderator on the Collingwood board who’s a huge fan of his. Shane Warne seemed like a bit of a ratbag but did you see the cavalcade of well wishers at his memorial service and people with stories about how Warnie had gone out of his way to make them feel special.

I reckon a lot of the best blokes out there would have a fair bit of ratbag in them.
