If Serong can keep improving his game as a defender in the VFL, there’s a good chance he could push for a spot in the best 22 next year at centre half back. With his size and athleticism he could prove to be a valuable asset. There’s definitely a spot for him. I believe he’s on the verge of signing a new deal.

Yep. He's been great (and consistent) at Box Hill in his role as defending against his opponent and then being involved offensively.

I've heard Sicily is a touch sore this week - Jai seems well positioned to come in this week if Sicily needs a week off. Seems to have had a very consistent 4-6 weeks.

I think Blanck is a lock. His spoil in the 2 on 1 with back to the flight of the ball was Gibboesque.

I don’t think Blanck is an absolute lock like Sic and Dimma, but I think he is close and there’s a lot of improvement left in him which is exciting.

I have a very good feeling about this kid, I think he’ll prove to be a real integral part of our future.

Is a really fast learner with excellent skills, has class written all over him while delivering under pressure. Watch out for Jai next year to come on leaps and bounds

Since playing back he reminds me of Ray Jencke
