I think the hatred being directed at Atkins is not fair. It's not his fault he's not a star, is not handsome to look at and we have essentially only got him to get pick 29. He was not rated by Hardwick but he was by Stuey Dew who played him for the last 17 games of 2023 in which he averaged of 20.3 disposals a game.

To be fair, that's far more impact than any depth player we currently have. If he offers no more, this will be a big get for the Magpies.
