Klug ok????

you're kidding right? Klug was a fantastic player when fit. fastest hands I've ever seen from a key forward, who was phenomenal below his knees and a very smart decision maker too.

shame about age and injury, quality wasn't an issue.

Always thought that if John Klug and Rod Maynard were a couple of inches taller they could have been AA CHF and CHB. Both supremely skilled players with amazing hands.

Apparently Richmond recruiting manager/staff found some flaws in him and Albert Proud. Something is wrong with him that we think is not that much of a problem/we can fix it. It could be that he just slipped so far because -His bad interviews-apparently he slipped so far bceause his bad interviews-same with Proud. He might've slipped because of his bad form and they were worried that he hasn't devloped as well as 1st thought. He was the best played in the U16 Championships last year wasn't he???? His height was a concern because he had been mainly rucking in juniors and the recruiters weren't convinced that he could fill a KPP role properly. I do not know why he slipped so far... Basically we will see how he turns out. Or he could've been rated highly but others were rated even higher???

Bad interviews and flaws found by Richmond. But for you crow-eaters to get him will make him worth extra hard being a life-time fan and not needing to sdapt to another area.

Good pick-up for you. Best possible club for him to commit to.

Why would you try to interview well with a club you don't want to go to when you know that your preferred club will pounce at their first opportunity?

I saw the the championship game at Crap Stadium at Geelong between SA and Vic Country, he seems to be very good over his head, he has a good marking technique which is a natural overhead mark, his leading to position was pretty good aswell.

Some issues with him that I remember were his reading of the play at CHF was not very good, was often out of position, second efforts wasn't fantastic. He didn't seem as fit as some of the other boys but I didn't know if he was carrying anything. He was well beaten by Hansen before he got KOed.

I think he is pretty raw, don't think he will make a ruckman but has the raw material there to make a KP forward. He has a few areas he needs to work on, would doubt that he will play in 2007 unless you have further KP problems. Not surprised he went as low as 14 although I think he is a better prospect than Reiwoldt, saw him a fair bit this year as he played in one of the teams that North's players play in the reserves.

Oh, I am glad he took down the myspace site, it was a shocker. :p

Pretty sure he was at that time. can't remember if it was just the flu or something more serious.

this is a great pick up for our club. Sellar is exactly what we needed a young bloke who will develop into hopefully a great chf for the club. Another big bonus is that he is a south australian and if he does turn out to be a star for this club there won't be any go home factor in 4 or 5 years time.

hansens still up. Albie Proud's is too

Hansen didn't have pictures of him in drag or tonguing boys. :p

I think all myspaces should be pulled down, talk about a waste of time. :p

Without a doubt I am over the moon that Sellar fell to us with pick 14. It really does feel like we have secured a top 5 talent here because he is every bit as good as ANY of the talls in this draft. Simply because he had a bad championships thru illness doesn't mean the talent goes away. We have our next CHF without a doubt in Sellar.

Once he has a good pre-season or two under his belt he will be jumping out of his skin, super speed as well for a big fella, and as clean as you will get below the knees + leadership. Bargain.
