Well what i said was according to reports... who's wrong?
Ha ha ha ha ha! You're wrong of course!

The attack was not called off, but a member within Al-Qaeda informed the CIA of the attack and the details were found on the hard drive of Bassam Bokhowa, just as I had said.

Don't argue with steph cam, or anyone

she thinks she's ALWAYS right,,, so let her continue to live in her fantasy world for just a little bit longer:thumbsu:

How dare you say that I live in a fantasy? I often back up my views with reliable sources, and before you decide to type cyber libel, then you should search though posts first.

Who on earth are you anyway, and what is your problem? There is no need for any personal attacks, particularly when you clearly have no intention of discussing the topic.

This post of yours was nothing more than an attempt to flame a poster, and to cause a problem, and I'm positive that is not permitted on BF.

What do you mean crazy things? Could it have been stopped when the CIA became aware of it? It's easier to discuss certain topics when you're aware of what is going on.

An Al-Qaeda informant notified the CIA, and the plans were then discovered on the hard drive of Bassam Bokhowa. If you want to learn more about it, then read a book called 'The One Percent Doctrine,' by Ron Suskind.

The Untold Story of al-Qaeda's Plot to Attack the Subways

"In an EXCLUSIVE BOOK EXCERPT, author Ron Suskind reveals how officials learned about a cell that came within weeks of striking in New York City with poison gas."

Err that is the book I was quoting from originally KS.

Why does the link you supplied go to a 'reply with a quote' page from my above post??
Err well if you read the book you'll see that there is evidence to show that the information was found on the hard drive and that the attack was not called off once this was discovered.

Btw, its a bit rich for you to talk about "personal attacks"
Hold on a tic, it is quite a bit different, when somebody that I don't even know, decides to attack without any input on the topic. When I may have a go at someone once in a while, at least I talk about the topic at the same time, so it's not a bit rich of me at all.

Why didn't the attack occur then?

Oh i should say, where's the congrats for stopping a possible attack?

Fair enough.
