The people that were effected the most (call it karma if you like) in the Mccarthy trade was GWS. Turned down Freo's offer of 2 first round draft picks for him, then traded him the next year for next to nothing.

- Saints have dropped out of the top 5 "most liked" being replaced by the Bulldogs who are now 5th overall
- Richmond stagnate in 2nd place in "most liked" remaining on +40 while Melbourne and Brisbane remain in 2nd and 3rd respectively but both make up massive ground (Melb went from +33 to +39) (Bris went from +27 to +38)
- Adelaide have extended their lead at the top as the most liked club by 6 points.
- Essendon absolutely blowing out the "most disliked category" seeing a further significant decrease from -54 to -72
- Carlton solidify 3rd in the most disliked category while Collingwood move up from 5th to 4th with Hawthorn moving down to take 5th outright.
- North Melbourne who were equal 4th with Hawthorn have dropped out of the "most disliked" list entirely.
- Interesting to see the Richmond have stagnated since they won the flag, tally poppy syndrome in action? you decide.....
- Personally surprised Adelaide increased given how they have handled the Lever situation and trade period in general.
- GWS have gone from the negative to the positive moving from -1 to +2.
- West Coast have from positive to negative moving from +5 to -2.
- All other clubs remained in the positive or negative they were from the previous update.

Brisbane - My Brother's team.

North Melbourne - Just find them bland and irrelevant.
Hawthorn - Over hearing about them. Happy for them to have a spell down the bottom of the ladder for a while.

Dogs - have nothing against them, nice supporter base. A lot of good footy characters
Saints - Grand Parents & Sister support them. Some good footy characters. Also deprived supporter base

None of this is surprising to me. People like teams that are inoffensive I.e don’t beat them often. Crows 20 year premiership drought. Dees 53 year drought. Lions been awful for years. Tigers just ended a 37 year drought. Dogs just ended their drought.updated 14/10/17

Flip side is people hate teams that cause them pain I.e beat them often.
Pies, Blues, Dons, Cats are 1, 2, 3 and 4 for all time VFL/AFL wins. Hawks have won a lot of flags the last few decades (most people’s lifetimes). So are hated.

And Carlton for that matter, says that Brisbane has been terrible for years... but Carlton has been terrible for longer...
I don't quite get the Carlton hate myself...
Not really, we have 1st rounders coming out of our backside and still effectively got 3 in last year.
The karma is on you as your pursuit of the bloke was very untidy and ultimately he’s not as good as you thought he would be. On this years form he would be the orange boy for our NEAFL side.
