he was pick 55
Like what richo said, the number you were picked at is irrelevant once you walk through the club doors.

if that the case lets sell all our first rounders to get 3 more picks after the second round.Like what richo said, the number you were picked at is irrelevant once you walk through the club doors.

exactly its the calm before the storm. lets hope a miracle arrives to save us.We need to have ready to go replacements for our three champions, Roo, Joseph, and Chipper. They'll leave a huge hole that could send us two steps backwards.
im not liking how hes not kicking goals. membrey kicks 8 in 2 weeks and he doesnt even get a mention. if it was billings the pats on the back would be enourmous. i dont know if its the coaches orders or whatever. why is he getting his kicks in the back half of centre and also why is he not playing a wingard role hes a true goalkicking half forward. yet these days he seems to be in and under packs more than i would like him to be. weve got enough in and under players. hes suppose to be the cream on the cake.Thats just stupid! Billings is having a good year this year. His not kicking as many goals but he's setting up plenty.
What is billings doing not to your liking?
Reckon at least another good size backman & either a good midfield speedster & possibly an indigenous unpredictable player, that has the uncanny ability to know when, where & how to get & use the ball. Like Rioli, Betts or even a Hill
Cant see the big imrovement in Billings that others do? I believe he simply is too much of a touch player to be a dominant mid and the best we can hope for is a consisitent HFF (Nathan Brown). .And yes I would have Bontempelli every day over Billings. To be honest I think it is the single worst decision Trout has made since he was running recruitment. Billings will never get to the midfield level Bont is playing at now!

1 fast mid who knows how to get it and where to send it.
Along with the progression of players already on our list.
Bontempelli gets tagged every week and has a major impact on the game with his possessions. Takes a good defender when he goes forwrad, wins clearances takes strong overheard marks, Billings is a seagull. His skills are excellent but he is not the impact midfielder we were sceaming out for at that draft.Ah yes billings will never average 19 touches in the midfield, God you post some dross

IMO his mate in Sinclair gives the team more midfield value Billings, because he is prepared to runand carry and take the game on.
Choomah best you take those Elton John glassess off and get your head back in a 'Harry Potter' book!
But but but he takes shots from the boundary and takes a speccy once in a blue moon! Shit he's a midfielder who is the height of Riewoldt he can run all day and mark and tackle like the best of them!Jack Billings Name Marcus Bontempelli

For all the Hype re Bontempelli, stats are on par. Jack will be a star

Think Montagna can go another 2-3 years injury permitting ala M.Boyd at the Bulldogs. He really is playing very, very well this year on a HBF. Out Fisher in Carlisle and obviously Roo is irreplaceable. We need to have ready to go replacements for our three champions, Roo, Joseph, and Chipper. They'll leave a huge hole that could send us two steps backwards.

You probably have never seen Billings play in the flesh.
Get the three game membership, you also can take a friend to every game as you get three guest passes.Thats right Joffa Im not a member (for now) so Im not allowed an opinion on a supporters forum. Very mature!

The single most irrelevant thing I've read on this forum.he was pick 55
Rofl... Bony never gets tagged. There's a difference between a hard tag & a run with. How'd Bont go last year against Armo in the comeback game cos that was the match up for about 65% of the game. Bont had about 20, Armo had 45.... Defensively, he is shit & teams need to work on how to exploit itBontempelli gets tagged every week and has a major impact on the game with his possessions.
