Some damn weird people here with views I disagree with, but those that argue their points validly without excessive trolling can give me an interesting alternative perspective....even if I still think they have their heads where the sun dont shine

Exactly, it is the exact reason i still come on here every day at work, and it is the exact reason i will continue to do so.
Bigfooty is really the only place i can go and talk football, i don't have many friends with the same sort of passion for football as me.
Love Big Footy.love reading most of the posts,but more importantly,it allows every footy supporter from each club to have their say.
I reckon it's fantastic,that everyone can express their own views,right or wrong,and wait there's more.
How do you guys think most of the rumour mills begin?

Here in N Qld I have no friends who follow AFL much although they know I'm a crazy cats supporter. BigFooty is the only place I can go to for a footy chat and it's a superb place for that, especially the Geelong board. I also like the Pies board (even tho I hate the Pies) and the Eagles board.
After I started coming here early last season and read the discussion and dissection of each game, I learnt how to better appreciate a game and what to look for rather than just cheer. I'm indebted to BigFooty and especially the Geelong Board for helping me develop my understanding of the game and also for providing a footy community.

Agreed Big Footy is our Footy lifeline in the Thugby states.
I was at another team website for quite some time and it used to give me the complete "sh***" how it seemed even mild critisism would result in your post getting deleted. I love the fact that this is not the case at Bigfooty.
The easy access to everyone elses team boards are a good thing also.
