What team do you fear the most?

Adelaide is the only team I can't see us beating. Just doesn't happen.

its not easy for a team to win 9 games to start the season of and maintain that form all year..

of course we are going to loose games that we are suppose to win and win close games that we are suppose to win easily, but that statement coz the dees took us all the way means teams shouldnt fear us.

lets be realistic the dees needed their all time great player to retire to finaly show some spirit and hawthorn were missing 4 of their best players, so i dont think many hawthorn supporters would have thought that it was going to be an easy game...

and no team should be feared any more just because of their ladder position, but the dees had hawthorn at the right time and couldnt finish them, so there for hawthorn showed great spirit and determination not to loose and the desire to win which makes good sides........

i think sometimes, ladder position and recent history can be misleading. Who wants it more on the day can play a big part in the outcome.

West Coast seem to bring out the worst in us, that would've probably been it at the start of this year but I imagine our inability to handle bloody Franklin is only going to get more costly as time goes on

Adelaide at AAMI stadium, have not won there since 1994. Crawf was teenager when we won, Buddy was about 5 years old.

That is the longest losing streak (Hawthorn) I can remember.

We were Essendon's bitch once, that has turned around.

thinking beyond last year I would have thought the team that fears the cats is Richmond. Ablett Snr saved his best for them and always seemed to have the wood on them.
For the cats I think Collingwood, used to be the saints.

Collingwood, regardless of last Friday night and of ladder positions, they always seem to match up well.

Also Geelong...We won it last year so you have to question the hunger now that the monkey is off the back. Are they as driven? Histroy says its very difficult to go back to back.

A tie between Collingwood and Adelaide.

I fear Geelong and also the Hawks to a certain extent but we're not really expected to beat those sort of teams. With teams like Collingwood and Adelaide you go into the game with at least some sort of expectation of a win which just makes it all the more crushing when you lose.

other than that i fear adelaide because we never seem to be able to beat them, maybe mattner can help us out

collingwood- developing a hold on us of late, we need to beat them this year, play a good team style of game like us. (i mean by getting the most out of every single player)


i dont fear playing the hawks yet (tho that could change in the next few years) and i dont fear playing the power or the blues

Collingwood, hate losing to them and Noth Melbourne seem to have the wood on us.

Dont fear Geeelong or Hawks as we have nothing to lose against them, they are already better than us according to some. No pressure.

The team i fear the most is my own team, the hawks

I respect the swans and crows though, dont get me wrong, but the down fall of the hawks will be our own ball-use, just as it almost cost us the game vs Melbourne and Port.
