Yeah very negative show, never have anything good to say. I think Darcy is the least over the top compared to Eddie, Brown, Bremerton and a few others.

The best ex AFL commentator I like is Richo, I find him very fair.
I like Richo too but he is not a commentator, just does special comments. I loved that bit in THE PF when he said, "Where's Clay Smith? He's been dangerous in these situations. They need to put some touch on him this time." 2 seconds later Clay kicked a goal.

Darce is annoying, I hated when he dobbed in Toby for lowering the body and drawing a free kick "He's a specialist at that!" But there are worse commentators including yours above.

No fair minded footy fan would object to those few seconds of unbridled joy. As you say it made great TV because of the emotion.

It wasn’t like it was for the whole match.
Are there many fair-minded footy fans on the main board? ;)

Where was this from? I’d love to read the full version.

Another gutless footy journo, all I said was it’s not a good follow up from Spud’s game and mental health to then pick out one player, despite saying he didn’t want to be cruel

What a cracking game that was on Sunday; and another example of the Bulldogs’ clear pros and cons. They scored very well, which was a great sign, moving the ball by hand at speed like no other club can do. Josh Bruce had a really strong game - we’ve been critical of him in the past, so we have to praise him when he stands up in key moments - as did Aaron Naughton. The problem remains at the other end; Bailey Williams was the match-winner in the final minutes, but their defence is still so exploitable. Josh Kennedy, Jack Darling and Oscar Allen combined for nine goals, and we don’t want to be cruel, but can you really imagine the words ‘Ryan Gardner’ and ‘premiership fullback’ together?

Bit harsh from foxsports, I can imagine it just as well as fletcher-roberts premiership full back, or Quentin Lynch premiership full forward for that matter.

Zaine Cordy, premiership CHF.

I watched Footy Classified anticipating a decent review of our win :p :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:
Cornes went on about our great midfield but contrasted that with the holes in our backline - went for about a minute.
Then in Caro's arrow she had a go at Darce [and a bit generally commentators who are currently linked to clubs] for biased commentary citing his reaction to an Astro mark. Pfftt

I agree with her to be honest. Darcy's barracking was embarrassing to listen to and actually detracted from the excitement of the game.

It wasn’t just his barracking. He constantly says “look at”. Look at Liam ryan. Look at the Bont. Look at etc etc.

We are watching the ****ing tv. We don’t need to be told to look at things. It’s what a tv is for!!!!

He also screams names LIAM RYAN LIAM RYAN. please stop.

Blocked you, but it does look like he's edited the article to remove the part about Gardner :thumbsu:

He/they definitely have, so it was an odd take to block me. Don’t want him executed, but just hopeful he learns from it and wants to do better

Tends to run ad nauseum with a narrative on a player. CJ and Alir Alir are athletic. What are they? Athletic. Just look at the athleticism...did I mention he's athletic. And Greene's a superstar. Kicks a goal...superstar, has a bounce...superstar, lays a tackle (late)...superstar.....gouges an eye...you guessed it with an added "of our game" for variety. He, Bruce and Ling together ...the mute button worked overtime.

Jack's Rascal of the week on 360 was brilliant. Bulldogs supporter looking for someone she knows and proceeds to turn around and rub her bum. As she walks away, she realises there may be a camera on her. 😂😂

“West Coast’s defence is so exploitable. Marcus Bontempelli, Josh Bruce, and Aaron Naughton combined for nine goals.”

Night and day between the Treloar on 360 two weeks ago and this week. Not looking anxious, smiling wider, shaper wit. Getting that Collingwood match out of the way early and a good win where he played a key role in getting us over the line seems to have done him a lot of good.

Yeah, he seemed genuinely happy, commented on the crowd and the noise at the game positively too.

Disgraceful that the media goes after a guy like this, when he has less than 15 games.

Yes... imagine a group of people publicly sticking the boots in to a young player trying his all for the club...

Hmm yes. I have been critical of Gardy's selection though do recognise he is improving. Could apply to Lewy Young as well ......
