WTF bev ?!?!

Watching the suns presser, and he is asked about Bailey Dale, and I dont know if he was tired or whatever, but he just blurts out unhelpful truths.

paraphrasing: "yeah Bailey had been defending alright, and now the opposition have seen he is really damaging by foot - "when he is given a bit of time"

I mean, why not just say "I dare you to tag him", and this is right before the GWS game.

Tagging him will be the best thing for us.

Not only does it free up a more damaging player, but it will strengthen Dale's game even more as he learns to deal with the tag. Imagine Daniel's effectiveness if the opposition forward tag shifts to Dale. Wowwweeee.

Yeah I’m not sure the opposition tagging Dale is a worry for our team.

Sunday Footy show spent more time showing highlights from Matthew Lloyds sons first game of under 9s then they did on our game.
I believe he said his son "played AFL" - must be the youngest draftee ever!

It is effing unwatchable. Footy Classified is just as bad because all they do is get into arguments and talk over each other.

Talking Footy was half decent and they took it off air.

Marngrook too

Gave up on the Sunday shows many years ago, they're clearly for light entertainment which is fine for those who want that - but very light on content.

They don't have any other contact details, but they're sometimes on Bulldogs facebook page:

Maybe email the club marked attention Barkly St Podcast

Thanks,

I have sent the Bulldogs FB the following message:

Hi, guys. I was hoping this could be passed on to Bob and Easton for their Barkly Street podcast. In 2010, we played the Hawks on a Friday night at the MCG. With the Hawks three points up with seconds remaining, Easton Wood was streaming through the centre towards the edge of the centre square and he unloaded a kick towards the top of the goal square where Ryan Griffen and Xavier Ellis were standing alone. The siren sounded as the ball was in the air, which ended with Ellis marking the ball in the goal square to save the match. My question to the boys is this. Do they remember this play, and was there any discussion afterwards about Griffen failing to block Ellis from marking the ball, which may have ended in the ball bouncing through the goals for a Bulldogs victory? You can find the piece of play here by fast forwarding to 4:17

You guys tune into the Sunday morning circus on 9 and you are disappointed when all you see are clowns?

If its serious analysis of the game you need then Billy the Hutt and his mates are not the experts you are looking for.

it was a pathetic effort not to shepherd by Griffin

I believe he said his son "played AFL" - must be the youngest draftee ever!

He also said Capper bought a lot of people through the gates.
It's really not that hard to know the difference.

My take is that possibly from fatigue or temporarily forgetting the rules/not realising the ball was a chance to bounce through, he wasn't thinking properly and gave up the contest the second he heard the siren.

On the original coverage of the game (which I was distinctly remember watching from an internet cafe on the Greek islands lol) you can see afterwards, as they're walking off, teammates telling him he should have tried to shepherd it through, and him looking baffled.

I don't know why I continue watching On The Couch. On the Bulldogs, Gary Lyon reluctantly admitted that we're a good side then spent a full couple of minutes highlighting our perceived defence deficiencies (mentioned Gardner as the main problem, ignoring Young's contribution). Brown: Dogs have a good forward line, Martin has freed up English, then proceeds to talk about other ruck/forward successes and derails the whole topic.

Lyon looks like he's just had an ecstasy tab when talking about Melbourne.

The whole show is garbage. Healy borders on incoherent these days, Lyon just wants to crap on about Melbourne, Brown, I can barely understand and Riewoldt is well, Riewoldt.

What do you mean exactly. As in off field?
Yeah, wasn’t anything major but Treloar just pointed out he needs to find the right balance between working hard/enjoying himself. We’ve heard similar a few times now, not too big a deal he definitely won’t be the first 18 yo kid who needs to improve their professionalism coming into the league. He’ll get there, just can’t imagine we see him before round 12 or so.

Just checked the ladder from that year, lucky for Griffen those 4 extra points it would have had no impact on our finishing position or how the finals series looked. I still doubt he would have prevented at least a touch on the ball had he tried, but you never know.

Can confirm he enjoys himself. Nothing to worry about though. Great attitude overall

JUH isn't the first prospect to come in and not be ready for the standard required as a professional footballer and he won't be the last. Just needs to adjust and find that balance.

Plus Bazlenka came in with the opposite problem where he was all football and couldn't really enjoy himself.
