"The Dogs won't win a game, they've lost too much experience".

We knock off West Coast and Richmond.

"Just wait until the injuries take their toll" (never mind that we've already lost Libba)

We lose Wallis (a month), Morris (3 months) and Clay Smith (year) and at the midpoint of the season we're 6 and 5, having already surpassed most estimates of our final win tally.

"Meh, 7.5 at best. They should've beaten the Saints and Melbourne".

There's no winning when they move the goal posts like that. Just appreciate the season for the revelation it's been.

Pretty good assessment really. It's a rating on our season, we're 6 and 5 and lost to Melbourne and St Kilda, no that doesn't mean we should get a 9 or whatever. In comparison to last year well it's a 10 but overall 7.5 is about right.

It is better than that moron Gillo's C+ that he handed out in his mid season report card thread on the main board. Found his way onto my ignore list as a result.
You're not missing much. :)

7.5 is about right I think. Exceeded all expectations and should have won 1 or 2 more.

He is 15, but he changed his age to 21
& if you call him out, he tries insulting you with the typical insults you would hear playing public online games
the best insult that I heard....'You sound like you're 30!' :p

To regular SEN listeners: Does Mark Robinson go on air drunk? In that Daniel Kerr clip he sounds totally plastered.
He doesn't go on air drunk, he's just that idiotic. You can smell the 5 smokes he had before he goes into the booth though.

He is a drunkard so more than likely. Love the hypocrite talking about addictions from his high horse, when he is clearly addicted to alcohol, food, commas and talking shit. Actually if that fat turd was on a horse it wouldn't be so high it would be flat on its stomach with its legs flayed out wards

Actually did LOL at that post. Post of the day my friend :p

Listening to the radio interviews on the WB website is very informative and entertaining. One thing that is becoming increasingly clear is that many of our recent recruits are very smart and eloquent. Macrae, Toyd, Hrovat, Roberts to name a few are very media savvy and express themselves seemingly beyond their years. It probably indicates that our recent recruiting policy is to not only select young men with talent but to include intelligence as a necessary criteria.
I think all four of the ones mentioned above are private school graduates but I'd like to think (as an proponent of the government school system) that this is just coincidence. More likely, it is a fact that young people these days are generally better educated when it comes to communication skills. In any case, I don't want to really enter into that debate. I'm just happy to know that there are a lot of very smart young people within our ranks.

I loved reading the Macrae interview and how positive he was about being dropped to the seconds. He basically thanked them for helping him. Kids going to go a long way with that attitude combined with his footy attributes.

If
you get caught up in Bont, Boyd's debut season, Picken's rise, Stringer's dominance, Murph's leadership, Easton Wood's coming of age and Beveridge’s no-fuss leadership ... ... don't forget Luke Dahlhaus. 25 touches a game, six tackles and now a lock in the midfield.

Wow, a positive spin for a change.

I still think it's remarkable that Greg Denham is employed. He possesses the attention span and foresight of one of those sandwich board evangelists that have predicted the rapture, minus all the calculations.
