Not a fan of him as a person, but playing Roo's floating role would be handy.I'd love Jack Watts at the Saints. Not sure what position he'd play but he'd be a great pick up.

Knightmare has lost the plot , if he thinks Goddard is quick and agile. The only thing he got right was comparing him to Sam Day ...... another spud.
Wow, I always think of him as a big lump of a lumbering lad. Not bulky but not agile.https://www.afl*******************/tag/hugh-goddard/
Strengths: Athleticism, versatility, booming kick
. Now he is incredibly quick and mobile for his size and almost has a graceful element about him that is beautiful to watch. He also has a great turn of speed that almost makes him look like a crumber at times.

Athleticism: One of Hugh Goddard’s biggest weapons as both a forward and a defender is his athleticism. He runs a sub 3 second 20m sprint (2.98 at the Draft Combine) and often uses this athleticism to chase down forwards making a lead or to present himself. He’s quite agile and is a strong player.
Lets get him back on the track and see how he goes.
Ha, right you are, just looked it up and it was indeed 2.98 sec for the 20m, even quicker than I remembered. That is seriously motoring for someone that size. At the same combine Lever ran a 3.19- although he was coming back from a year out with the knee.https://www.afl*******************/tag/hugh-goddard/

Thats a joke right?Yeah i was suprised to read that .
Quick and Agile ????? WTF
Rhys Stanley has speed and stamina to burn , yet some of his efforts are amongst the worst I've ever seen. It's amazing how slow and gassed he appears even early in games , and especially at a contest. Some guys like young Cameron Rayner might test badly , yet are the opposite of Rhys Stanley , in that they grow a leg with a football in front of them. Let's hope that Hugh Goddard has factors like the one you mentioned , and is more Rayner than Stanley. He certainly hasn't looked quick or agile , and with his agility , once the ball hits the deck he is effectively beaten in the contest. If Hugh has been restricted , his return to peak fitness would be very handy for St.Kilda.Goddard did the 20m sprint in 3.00 or 3.01 seconds at his combine, which for someone of his size is very quick. Probably elite. Petracca did his in the same time.
My suspicion is that he bulked up too much in his 2nd preseason.
Was reported that he got up to around 105kg, which for someone 196ish cm at 19yo is an awful lot.
