What venues have you seen your team play?

I'm a Melbourne based Hawk supporter. In the past 5yrs I've visited:
-MCG, Melbourne,
-The Dome, Melbourne
-Kardinia Park, Geelong
-Gabba, Brisneyland,
-Subiaco, Perth
-Footy Park, Adelaide
-SCG, Sydney
-Aurora Stadium, Launceston

I think that pretty much covers all the current venues...I try and get to at least 1 interstate game a year, if not 2 (whether we are winning or not ie remember flying to Sydney & Brisvegas about 5yrs ago to see us get totalyl walloped!).

How many other people go on interstate supporting their team. How do you get there? Take a few days of work and roadtrip it or just fly?

To all those non Sydney based AFL fans how does the SCG compare to grounds in other parts of the country? I ask because ive only ever been to the SCG and ANZ Stadium and havent been to any other AFL grounds so i dont know how the SCG rates as a ground compared to other stadiums around the country.

When I went this year I had a member's ticket for the SCG so I can only comment on that part, but I thought it was terrible. Everything is outdated, the view of the ground is very poor and one of the screens is shocking. Aurora stadium was much better.
