I'd take Gibbs at West Coast for our first rounder, he'd really add something to our midfield and fits in the right age bracket that he'd still be in-form but a senior player when we probably will be contenders next. Murphy in my opinion has less outstanding attributes and is probably worth a little less but still a very handy player, a team like the suns could really use him now.

What would we he add to WC's midfield?

He would be worth a lot to a top 4 side or a side on the precipice.

North seems like a logical destination, he would give them a new dimension if they got him and they'd gladly give up their 1st rounder for him.

TRADE HIM!

He's obviously in a slump atm. If he could recreate his 2014 form, he'll be a top 4 mid in any team.

A bit of class and size? He's a good player, made hard to play well by the fact that he's been played out of position a lot by a fairly directionless club.

Shuey and Yeo give us linebreaking ability, Priddis and (in future) his hopefully better-kicking replacements like Sheed and Waterman give us contested grunt, I reckon Gibbs would give us more than Masten as a link-up player around the ground (would take more marks and kick more goals for example)

I dunno, do you really want to cough up what would probably be a first rounder for a player that consistently pulls out of contests?

That was exactly what i was going to say. Seeing him live earlier this year at Subi, some of efforts were cringe worthy. I could only see him as that quarter back type player off half back hitting people up with his kicks. And if that's the case, then Yarran would be more appealing.
