Society/Culture When do we address the gender education gap?

Unless there's some specific reason, but it's not a gender studies class, and not sure what it would have to do with shadowing a diplomat. Surely there's a bit more to it kickazz ?
I'll have to find out more.

I'm thinking what must be the case is that it is not the school's policy so much, but some other organisation specialises in providing this opportunity for girls, and that organisation has offered it's services to the school?

Still not ideal but I can't see how a school would get away with making that rule.

If its the organisation's rule there isn't much the school can do in trying to get boys onto the program. I would however expect the school to:
A) ensure that there is the same opportunity for boys through another organisation.
B) request that this organisation also accepts boys, and if not end their affiliation with the program.

Or maybe they want 50 50 quota and all the boys' spots were taken by the time this school found out. Who knows.

Possibly, you'd think as Big Papa Ted said above, that if this particular programme was limited solely to female and transgender students, that the school would endeavour to find a similar programme that the rest of the students had the opportunity to participate in.
