I saw Kelly at a VFL game earlier this season, but he was running away from the ground. Such is his lack of interest in playing footy, that he can’t stand the sight of it. His Dad was there too, looking grumpy. I’d be running away from a Dad like that too. It’s almost a form of abuse, for Kelly to be retained on our list.

I think it's a slap in the face for derek... He has a demonstrated long term ability to identify crap players. Just because he hasnt picked any key position crap players, doesnt mean that he cant do it. ok, I get the idea of overpaying a crap player to really spark the whipping.

i dont think so....in those days, there were many threads that worked together to do the whipping.... and then there was the grand daddy of them all, the game day thread where whips were cracked at players like "tommy" mclarty ....oh but tommy never did play a senior game did he?
