I reckon Carlton have got 3-4 years right now of a fair chance to win #17. Using same thinking I think Collingwood are down to ( at best everythign going right ) - one last go in 2025.
No wonder the dirty birders are a bit itchy and scratchy - Mexico holiday BNB's might have to be repolaced with long term investments in Haciendas in the Collingwood property portfolios.

Daicos contested possessions and hard ball gets....
So Number 5 for average contested possessions in the competition in 2024.
Ahead of Bont, Serong and Libba.
Two years younger than anyone else on that list.
Not bad for a player whose more natural game is as an outside elite ball user and decision maker.
Now for hard ball gets:
Racking up similar numbers to the likes of Petracca, Rowbottom, Heeney, Fyfe, Nash and Warner.
Again, not bad given he's more useful to his team when he receives the ball in space, given he's the best ball user and decision maker in the competition.

The real competition is indeed more than just Carlton V dirty birders- it also includes Essendon and Richmond. The only reaon I watch with interest from afar is the tribal rivalry - couldnt care less about flags when none of these teams are invovled in the run. As for other metrics - couldnt care less about participation awards - that is 'just' food for banter.
eg Carlton has been able to pizzon every milestone game Collingwood have ever had - nice to know but really only a banter item.
Anyway pinup boy fundgey has laready previously stated that he doesnt beleive that there is a dirty boird Carlton rivalry - because Carlton has been crap all century - he is more into licking Geelong and Shitney crevices and adoring Brisbane these dayz - shifting goal posts and deflections interalced with disparaging lies about all Carlton supporters being welchers is his go to mana.

Fact-Collingwood the most successful club in VFL/AFL history, hands down. Won more games and finals than anyone and no side has won more premierships. Most importantly in head to heads between our clubs the Pies are way in front. In the past 20 years in particular we’ve curb stomped the Blues on field.
