I expect Daicos' contested possession to kick the winning goal against Carlton in our first encounter this year was regarded as a 'loose ball get'?

But I guess that wouldn't be regarded in the same esteem as a 'hard ball get' that is coughed up to the opposition, because we all love the 'hard stuff' right?

Fact-Collingwood the most successful club in VFL/AFL history, hands down. Won more games and finals than anyone and no side has won more premierships. Most importantly in head to heads between our clubs the Pies are way in front. In the past 20 years in particular we’ve curb stomped the Blues on field.

It must hurt to be you.
it has taken your mob of wobblers 25 years to catch up to Carlton in a period where Carlton enjoyed its worst ever run - all the stats you nuffies quote are oxymoronic hyperbole - thinking that any of this has any relevance to the future is dimwitted and delusional - but hey whatever floats yourr boat really boring banter in my opnion.

Better side in 2024, better over the last 80 years

It must hurt to be all of you
Nope. I’ll just stream the 2010 or 2023 premierships to feel better.

You can always pop in the VHS to take you back to 1987 when Bob Hawke was PM, Rolf Harris still considered a national treasure and Carlton had a semi-competent football side (though likely still salary cap rorting even then).

OK, so what is the probability of Carlton's current premiership drought extending to 50 years and beyond, if it's not 30%?

Because you haven't covered that...

you can makeyuppy any numbers you like based on a misunderstanding of bassic statistical methodology Fudgey - you woudl fail any stats 101 exam based on your ramblings.

Another poor deflection from the topic. You wanted facts and they were provided

Now, show me the facts that the Pies have won more flags in the last 80 years

Or are you "imagining"

dont blame you for disrepseting your own Clb's historical achievemnt- after all most of them were bought by a gangster.

Says a supporter of the only club fined and sanctioned for systemic salary cap rorting 😂

The Blues should be definitely be stripped of the 1995 flag because that was clearly a tainted win. Though you get to keep the 5 wooden spoons you’ve “won” since then 😊
Sorry mate those punishments were for transgressions in the 2000 and 2001 seasons.;)

Is that the goal when his direct opponent Sam Walsh just stood back in awe and let Nick win the game for us?

Definitely an uncontested possession as poor old Sam wasn’t remotely in the contest!

VFA,VFL and AFL history shows Carlton 22 flags and the Pies 17, Blues the most flags since the game started.

Are you suggesting the probability is slightly more than 30%?

Are you suggesting we definitely won't get a 20th team, or we won't see any of our current 18 teams merge?

Again, feel free to provide the 'correct' answer, and your rationale for arriving at it.
At what point did you insert Tassy in your dataset?

Oh but it's five to one our way in grand finals, and we shit all over your anniversaries as well.;)

Six of your clubs flags were brought with a mobsters money btw.:D

Happy for you to share the 'correct' answer as well, and your rationale for arriving at it.

But you're another one who is all talk and no action.

Ive explained your stoopid stats on so many occassions fudgey ...come on now - read any book starting with the first chapter on distribution theory....probability only works in 'coin toss' simulations ...but I think you have always not really understood what 'coin toss situations' means.

We're not seriously back onto Fudgeys dodgey simpleton calculations are we????

Unless he's got himself a DeLorean over the off season you'd get better information from Moo Deng than ol' Fudgey boy and his abacus.

8 of your flags were achieved through corrupt zoning (courtesy of cheating Bluebagger Kenneth Luke) and salary cap rorting.

If the AFL had s backbone 1995 would be stripped from you.

Oh.

So we can't derive a rationale to calculate the probability of a team (any team) not winning a premiership for the next 21 years, because it's not a 'coin toss simulation' (or situation)?

I appreciate it's not a scenario you would like to imagine, but unfortunately for you, your team is well on it's way to making it a reality.

So....

Carlton not winning a flag for the next 21 years:
  • It's not 0%
  • It's not 100%

It MUST therefore be somewhere inbetween, right?
