This is coming from the man who said Kennedy would be ranked the 30-35th best player on Collingwoods list and that Fin Macrae, Ned Long and Reef McInnes would all be rated higher than Kennedy and Owies by the end of the year despite all 3 looking close to certainties to be delisted in 12 months time

how is it any different to Mason Cox who get absolutely smashed by a lot of Collingwood supporters weekly, yet he is a vital cog for the team. It's no different.

Yes they did. He's extremely lucky he survived the off season, as are many of the Pies supposed 'depth'.

Macrae, Smit, Parker, Jiath, Demattia, Long, Ryan, McInnes, Steene. None would currently get consistent games at any club.

Now mind you, plenty of clubs have similar types on their lists... But to say any of them would be getting games ahead of established AFL players like Kennedy or Owies is just hilarious.

Especially one like Macrae who's been given plenty of chances and stunk it up just about every time he's set foot on the field.

Only good slow footballers are juggernauts like Cripps, Green, Rowell etc or elite users like Pendles, Sheezel, Houston etc.

Macrae possesses neither attribute, he's a small, slow, ordinary disposal inside mid with no real standout traits.

What does that matter? If either player were worth writing about they'd be in the starting 22 not coming on as a sub every other game.

On what basis would you have either ahead of Kennedy or Cerra as midfielders though? Players who have proven to be AFL quality many times over.

These are the types of players that clubs send out to footy clinics over the school holidays. Only reason why they are on a list
