I've never said Daicos carried the Pies in 2023.
He was the best player in the best team, and the best player across the whole competition, but the thing with AFL is that regardless of how good your best player is, or your best handful of players are, it takes a full squad to win a premiership.
Carlton and its supporters might work that out one day...
