If you want to redefine what "consistent" means that's your right.See, when normal people think of the term 'consistency' in relation to sporting teams or players, they think of who is 'consistently good'.
Most junior footy teams award a 'Most Consistent' trophy, and when awarding that, you'd go for the reliable defender who might only get 10 possessions a week but can be counted on to stop his opponent; or the midfielder who can get his hands on it 25 times a game and is a good user and decision maker; or the forward who was able to hit the scoreboard most weeks, whilst also setting up goals for his teammates.
But Carlton supporters would give it to the kid who didn't get a kick all year, because he was the 'most consistent'.
