Peak Carlton
5-8 and an EF in first week of finals is peak Carlton in 21st century.

40 year old or younger Carlton fans are the new StKilda fans. Stuck following a loser club, where a rare finals appearance (even though they didnt show up) is celebrated by the poor Bagger fans.

But what would be worse is that their grand parents would keep talking about the glory days when Carlton were a good club.

You morons can't stick to 2024, the number of Collingwood players that played finals in 2024

dude I wouldn't be boasting about your guys showing in their first final of their careers. Wasn't it nearly 60 minutes before you got on the scoreboard?
Wasn't boasting about my team, just letting you know your team was worse in 2024.

Jeepers.

That's a lot.

I wonder what the probability is of that number is of increasing to the magic 20 million number?

Hmmmm.
61.3%

Also Fadge, after this year's trade period with Carltons list changes factored in; I've re run the algorithm and the probability of their premiership drought extending to 50 years has now ticked over 30%.

It's actually 31% just using basic numbers.

If you were to start considering the long term incompetency of Carlton, I'm sure it would be closer to 50%.

Entrenched cultural incompetency is too mathematically problematical to be factored in at this stage. It will undoubtedly impact probabilities in Carlton's case.

What we could do is consider the fact they won't win a flag with this iteration of the rebuild, will require another 6 to 8 year rebuild once Cripps, Curnow, McKay and Weitering retire or move on...

That takes us to about year 42, and we can start the probability calculation from there.

So the probability of Carlton's current premiership drought extending to 50 years is more likely circa 70%.

That is looking to be by far the most likely outcome. I mean, they are relying on pick 3 this year being a Messiah of some sort who will elevate them into contention. How often does that happen? Not many Nick Daicos's around. Anyway, chances are they'll stuff it up and get a slight upgrade on Paddy Dow.
TDK will be gone next year... Then before you know it they have a cooked dad's army core group, no quality youngsters and have to go full rebuild.... a 40 year drought is odds on at this stage.

I think it's hilarious that the Pies want to deflect from the 2024 outcome, nor want to focus on 2025, by wanting to discuss history, yet they only have 3 flags in 60 odd years

Must be suffering taco toxicosis
It's getting embarrassing for them the way they skip 2024.
