What a great analogy.

How many times have we heard people say 'Carlton have a stacked list', but upon closer inspection an astute eye can quickly see it for the fake that it is...
Got the big shiny G buckle (Charly, Harry and Cripps) that distracts you from noticing that the "leather" making up the rest of it is made from recycled vinyl floorboards.

To answer my own question
Sad and pathetic basket cases of their own who sat and watched the 2024 finals from a bar in Mexico.

In all genuine honesty. I am so happy for you that you got to watch your team do this:

You must've been so proud. I'm so jealous it wasn't us!🤣

Yes, you (Carlton in this instance) have.

A mid table side. Nothing more.

List hasn't improved in the off season whilst many others have.

Certainties to miss the finals in 2025, and if one of the big 6 miss a lot of footy, bottom 4 bound.
Ok. Whatever you reckon
Should we be concerned, I mean, based on your predictions to date......
Nah. We're not worried
You guys seem to be a bit tense tho lately with not making finals, losing GW & Browne and loading up for 1 last crack before your oldies wither and die.

Says these things based purely on his hatred and undervaluing of our players and club. Hot air. Every time he posts you can feel a breeze blow through the thread.

We finished 9th brought in Acres and it was said we hadn't improved. Then made the prelim the following year. Had a rubbish last 6 weeks in 2024 but were tracking to improve again with the addition of just E.Hollands. You don't need to be spending everything to improve year-on-year - get some improvements with cohesion, improvements with coaching and some natural development into the youngsters and that will have a more significant impact on results than any single acquisition.

You went from 12 wins to 13 wins in the home and away season, and were never in contention in 2023.

Luckily for you, 13 wins was enough for 5th spot on the ladder. Conversely this year, it just stuck you into the top 8.

So 12 wins, 13 wins, 13 wins.

Where was that 'improvement' again?
