A home and away game against Geelong in June 2024 might just have been the very peak of Carlton's build, rebuild and rebuild again.

They hoisted the June Runners Up Cup (Sydney were the June Premiers), and then proceeded to win 2 of their last 8 games - against North and a backs to the wall win as underdogs against West Coast.
