So Pies can't finish 5th and Carlton can't finish 8th, therefore the original prediction was overdone as per my post, it's Carlton 5th-7th Coll 6th-8th, glad we agree

That's their median finish as a result of all the scenarios I've run through my abacus.
If everything goes right for them - unprecedented good run with injuries, favourable umpiring gifting them a game or two (ala the Freo games from the last two seasons), and getting good service from their 18 year old draftees - I see them sneaking into the top 8. Heck, they might even produce a better performance than 0 - 60 in their Elimination Final.
Conversely - if any of their top 6 see extended time on the sidelines, they don't get what they're hoping for in year 1 from their draftees, and they get a couple of dubious results against them - they'll be eyeing off 17th.
Pretty simple I would have thought, for anyone with modicum of intelligence

Because if they were to both play finals, but with Carlton finishing above Collingwood, it would mean Collingwood couldn't finish 1st, nor Carlton 8th.
Is it really that difficult to wrap your head around?
You really do struggle to invent something new for 2025. You'd be good working for meadowlea - nothing like churning away the same old stuff on a daily basis

Didn't you or one of your cronies label me autistic or aspy recently? Turning out to be a very ironic statement considering you're self-combusting at one of the more clearer predictions I've seen in this thread.
Oh dear, it's pretty logical that Collingwood wouldn't finish in 1st place, if in fact the prediction is that Carlton would finish above Collingwood.
Glad we have established that both sides can finish in the 5th-8th "range" with Carlton finishing
