Doubt it'll be us...but believe me I'll have every single bit of me crossed in hoping.

SF's are...
Cats vs Port

Sydney vs Carlton

I can see Sydney smashing Carlton, but I can see us struggling against Port who brought it right up to us at home a few weeks ago

Could not smash an egg at the moment. Out on their feet. Midfield have carried the can all year and are Max.

Gawn that is !!!!

If Sydney play like they played on Friday Night, we have a chance. You can't go to sleep against a team with nothing to lose. Look at richmond today one of the best Defensive team in the league they took a nap and we put 75 points passed them in one half. The tactic we used today could be fatal to sydney if they are not fit enough or completely play to our plan. it's a suicidal Strategy to use and would test the structure of the team hence the fluctuation of the score (good example is how richmond structure Just folded in the second half). The only team this might not work on is probarly Freemantle Ross has the tools and knowledge in my opinion to counter it.

Carlton - 30% chance of winning
Port - 1% chance of winning

Preliminary Finals
Hawthorn to beat Geelong. The losing streak will end (??)
Fremantle to beat Sydney. Kurt = :(

Grand Final
Hawthorn vs Fremantle

Will be a very good and close game I think.

History shows higher ranked team almost always wins in week 2. Very tough for Port and Carlton but port the bigger chance of an upset IMO.

Didn't see the AFL graphic during the week with winning percentages of 1v4 2v3 etc?

Needless to say, everything goes out the window when the ball is bounced.

With Hawkins under an injury cloud and now Enright out, the Cats are less effective at launching a successful attack from half-back, and of course an opposition key defender is freed up to help out on Podsiadly.

Hawthorn will have to absolutely choke to lose to a battle-weary Geelong. Port won't lie down and let Geelong run over them without a massive fight.

Freo will walk into the GF against a relatively lethargic Sydney or a Carlton outfit that'd just be happy to have gotten to a prelim.

Freo will pressure Hawthorn to the max but hopefully the Hawks kicking talent and star-studded forward line gets them the cup in the end.

Geelong have this sewn up. Port, the curse and the Dockers. Three easy matches.

4 in 7. The greatest team of all

Cat fans must be salivating at the prospects. Two virtual bye's coming up (Port and Hawks) then they should be faves against Freo... it must be so close they can almost taste the sweetness of it.

Exciting times ahead for them.

I'm thinking Hawks or Freo. Difficult to gauge who is the better team given the lack of form line between the two, but Hawks should be good enough t win it at home.

You will absolutely smash Port, who played their GF already. See you in a couple of weeks.

I really want it to be a Freo V Geelong Grand Final! it will be one hell of a match! it will be very fiery and the recent games between them suggest that. and in Grand Finals anything goes! could see things get very heated!! But I'd also hope Freo win the game too!

Hawthorn are the best side this year by a mile.

They will have to do something very stupid to lose it from here.

well run into Geelong in a Prelim would of not been on their agenda! Been a while since they've won!

All things must pass.

Geelong have had a good run no doubt against the Kennett cursed raptors. But all good runs eventually come to an end. All of them.

Reverse trolling?? I mean, maybe, but I don't see any of those being 'easy' ... Port might be depending on how things pan out during the game; if Port can stay in touch they'll play hard 'til the end. If Geelong can come out with fire like they did in the EF vs Freo, they might get enough of a break that Port fold under the pressure of it all.

Anyway, curse or no curse, I think Hawks are rightly favourites.
