I dont think internally we expect to make finals. People at the club (CEO & list manager) know the list build has been a steaming pile of horse sh1t and we're not going anywhere unless we invest in youth and hit the draft. 4th youngest list next year and our most experienced players are all either cooked or garbage anyways. No choice but to go backwards to go forwards

Brad will be safe but needs to take a good hard look at himself , this is mostly down to team selection and not backing in older guys who are taking us nowhere. Most are gone but some still remain and are coming O.O.C
Probably just a question of whether the Essendon board will continue to be patient if the result don't come in 2025. They were quick to move on Rutten, so I wouldn't be confident in their patience based on that. Let me clear - if they're mid-table for most of the year then I think Scott keeps his job for 2026 when his contract expires, but if they're sitting in the bottom 4 for a good portion of the season then I think the pressure will be too great and we'll likely see Scott getting moved on.

I think the board will be patient. Our president has been banging on about stability and unity since he got in 2 years ago. He knows that more shortcuts will get us nowhere. Would be a different story if he wasnt re elected last week and the other mob got in.

Would have to be Beveridge surely. Bulldogs were talked up as a potential dynasty team after the 2016 flag and have lingered in mid table mediocrity ever since.

Why doesn't the poll list all coaches?

If the Crows are not tracking for finals mid season, Nicks should be gone.

Given the evenness of most of the teams & few coaches under pressure, the 1st sacked is wide open...

Beveridge is a good chance if Bulldogs start badly.

Don't think Port would sack Hinkley until at least end of the season.

Goodwin - If he can't get the Demons to bounce back and or there is more unrest within the playing group, he probably gets moved on

Nicks - I still believe he is a good coach, but needs to play finals in 2025

Beveridge - Plenty of talent on that list, top 8 at a minimum

Voss - See Beveridge

B Scott - Can't afford to be bottom 6, but think they are in contention for the 8

Longmuir - See B Scott

No more excuses for Fremantle - finals at a minimum or coach is out on his arse.
